Overall the College was good. Internships and placements need better quality. Rules are very much strict. The library should be more improved. The lab is superb. Assignments are outstanding. Teachers are also very good
Course Curriculum Overview
The course structure is very good. The labs are outstanding. If you enjoy doing programs then you will get addicted to it. You will get many assignments and after doing each assignment you will feel like a programmer.
Placement Experience
In this College, this particular section is a little bit weak. You can't get so many placements and job opportunities. You might get an internship. But, you can get superb guidance. Remember if you study sincerely then you will get a job for sure.
College Events
There are many technical workshops happened in our College. There are many cultural festivals too. It was a pleasure to attend those festivals. They are very big festivals. Students from different Colleges also joined us.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It was quite feasible with respect to the fees of other Colleges. We had to pay 16, 010+bank charges per year. It was quite less than other Colleges. You might get some scholarships from the College depending on the criteria.
Fees and Financial Aid
To be honest I had not taken any loans or scholarships. But, yes there are some loans and scholarships are present there. So, students from different backgrounds can get an education with fewer problems. Many friends of mine had taken many scholarships.
Campus Life
There are many extracurricular activities. The gender ratio is varied. But, in our class, it is almost 50-50. There are many workshops, cultural activities that happened. There are no issues of religion, gender, sexual orientation, politics, etc.
Alumni/Alumna
The seniors were very good. They were very helpful. They inspired us too much. At the time of the exams, they gave us notes and suggestions. They motivated us. They were very helpful. Their motivations still inspire us.
Admission
I wanted to learn computer science and syamaprasad College is one of the best Colleges for computer science in Kolkata. Luckily I got a chance to learn in this College. Nowadays computer science is a very good subject, and it was my dream to become a programmer.
Faculty
The faculties are also very good, specially the head of the department. Each and every teacher is highly qualified and they make the student to understand the concept clearly. They have different teachers for different topics.
