Remarks
I have already written a lot of things about my college.And at last the only thing I would like to say is that it is a feeling, and a great one being a Xaverian.I feel proud every day of my life.Awesome.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is robust and good.It teaches you everything you should now ti step into the corporate world.The teachers are really helpful when it comes to clearing doubts.I remember getting one on one sessions for doubt clearing everytime I asked for it.
Placement Experience
Many companies cam to the college for placements and if one tries, they will surely get one.Companies like ICICI, Kotak, Tresvista, Delloite, DE Shaw, etc.came to SXC for recruitment and they were surely not disappointed.
College Events
There are events round the year.The college has about 20 societies which conduct atleast 5 events every year.And the mega event, XAVOTSAV, is a treat.I dont know what else to say.Thank you.What the hell is this 200 character.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees is expensive when you compare it to the other courses in the college.But BBA in other colleges is more expensive than here.So, that's the trade off.You might feel that BCom is better, at times, but no.
Campus Life
They encourage sports and also have a sports quota.Students can participate in various activities in the college and be engaged in them along with studies.The gender ratio is a good one and any kind of mishappenings can be reported.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni network is really strong.It has a lot of influential people of the town.7/10 people in top positions in Kolkata are Xaverians.The alumni comprises of such people.They organize mega events every year.
Admission
Apply through the college portal for BMS course.Now the course has changed to BMS.But the selection criteria is the same.They take into consideration marks of an entrance exam and also your 12th marks.50-50 weightage is given to both.You get your name on a list if you pass the minimum criteria.The minimum pass marks vary every year.
Faculty
The faculty are mostly PHDs in their respective fields.The junior professors are very well experienced in terms of teaching.The senior professors are the best you can get in India.The teachers might get a little strict and you might feel that you're still in school or something but it helps, trust me.
