About college

It is very beautiful college in siliguri surrounded by tea garden.the teachers are very polite and helpful.teacher student relation is very good.it is one of the best technical college in Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University.

I am pursuing BTech and i am from Information Technology department.there are 8 semesters.per sem 2 internals.total 16 internals.It is the course of 4 years.per year 2 semesters.one sem held in the month of December and another july.There are 5 to 6 subjects per sem and practicals.

They organize so much campusing.our placement officer talk with so much company and they come to take students from our college.they also organise internship if any one want to do that.there are two types of campusing.one is pool and another college campusing.pool campusing held in kolkata.

Every year our college organise a fest.Mainly 3rd year students organize this program.there are so many events.like quiz,sports,singing competition, dancing competition, teaser hunt.they also organise a book fair in the college premises.there are technical competition as well as cultural competition.so many students do their projects and participate on that day.

The fee structure is little bit high.1st semester they take around 60000 then 2nd semester 45000 3rd semester 43000 4th semester 43000 5th semester 42000 6th semester 42000 7th semester 39250 8th semester 39250

I did not take any loan so I do not have any idea about this.but i have listened that the needy students get scolership.if the student have good marks and high score in a joint entrance examination then he or she will get some scolership.

There is a basketball ground in our college.students who know how to play basketball use to play there.there is a room to play indoor games.every year they organize sports compition between other colleges and between student teacher.

There are 2 girls hostels in our college.one hostel is for 1st year student and another is for 2nd,3rd and 4th year students.as well as there is also a boys hostel.i have been for 3 years in a pg.the owner of pg and the hostel was same.so i used to stay in pg.there is a cook who is very helpful.they make various food.the rooms and bathrooms are clean.there is a made who used to clean the rooms everyday.

I don't have any idea about it.But yes the seniors are very helpful.if we r in trouble then they help us very well.they guide us like parents.the passout students come every year on the occasion of fest.

I gave the joint entrance examination.Then selected the colleges of Tecno India group.According to my merit list i have seen that i am selected for this college and then I took admission in this college SILIGURI INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY.

They are very much helpful and strict too.They all are highly qualified.Some of them are also doing PhD and one of them is researching on Artificial Intiligence.They teach us very politely.If we want more time to get the topic of that subject then they give us extra time.
