Overall the college is great for a deemed student. It brings you a lot of memories, experience, and skills.

It is very relevant to the course of Food technology. Also, core subjects of Chemical engineering are very well taught in relevance to the food technology and food industry. Processing of various food items ranging from cereals and pulses to meat, fish, and Poultry it covers all processing and also covers the manufacturing of beverages and confectionery, etc.

Placement scenarios keep on varying every year but still, around 70% of the interested students are placed in food industries.

There are two annual fests here in UICET, First is the Annual cultural fest 'CYANIDE' happening in the last week of February or the first week of March, other than this is Aanwik which is a technical fest of UICET happening in April. Both these fests are great and include many events which students enjoy and also these fests come with great responsibility and loads of experience to Involved students.

The fee structure for B.E. is very feasible i.e. around 20k annually while the fee structure for a Self-financed integrated course i.e. B.E. + M.B.A. is very expensive comparatively which reaches almost to 1lac annually. Despite this fee, there is an annual membership charge to chemical engineering society i.e. of 1500 submitted as Draft.

College does provide for many scholarships but I didn't avail any. But the economically weaker section does avail of these facilities.

Campus life is full of joy, memories, and experiences. There are many competitions, fests constantly being organized by the student council and are participated by many students from various spheres, despite this University have a well-facilitated University Ground with separate tracks for running, walking and also football ground and Hockey Astroturf.

Most of the Hostels are from the 1960s and also were originally made for a single resident per room so obviously the room space is not that much for nowadays when the room is to share among two residents, but the soon social circle is increased, this physical limitation is no more any barrier. Gyms have a very good range of flora, plenty of greenery, gardens, a guest room for female guests, gymnasium, barber, the common room which has LED sound system, Table tennis, chess and carrom boards. Overall hostel Life is a must-have lifetime experience.

Alumni network is not that strong in here, but despite the present situation, professors and authorities are working to make it stronger by organizing Alumni meets regularly.

I was greatly interested in the Food technology or Agro based engineering course, so I found this to be the best of North India with a very low fee structure and comparatively higher placements. For this I first had to register myself for JAC counseling in June month then online counseling allotted me a seat and further scrutiny process held on physical reporting.

The faculty of my college on average is fair. There are more no. Of Research scholars and guest faculties which seems to be a problem but still, some guest faculties are very knowledgeable, many senior professors are there but in Food technology only one senior professor is there which looks like an issue but still, faculty is enough of what a seeking student needs.
