The college is has a good placement statistics but the 3 mid semes are exhausting Too many assignments College hourscan be reduced by few hours Plus the partiality in fee structure is unacceptable Yes only this much.
Course Curriculum Overview
It is good We have to complete 8 semesters to get our degree a total of 175 credits Labs are decent Inclination towards research is a bit less The entrance exam is not that tough I gave COMEDK to enter here This college runs from 9 morning to evening 5 which make the day quite a hectic one But as we say No pain no gain
Placement Experience
This was the most important point for me while choosing this college Placement statistics of this college is very good Being in Bangalore helps this college to attract many popular companies Companies like Microsoft Goldman Sachs Amazon Flipkart Directi and even many consult and management companies come here.
College Events
We don't have a technical fest yet But we do have a cultural fest called 8th mile And their are sports events oraganised in our college The participation is not so huge but yeah we do attract a lot of Bangalore crowd
Fee Structure And Facilities
Their are 2 categories of fee structure One is through COMEDK and other is KCET So the students from KCET has to pay around 60 thousand Indian rupees per semester Where as the COMEDK one's has to pay around 2 lakhs as tution fee
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes their are few available for kannada students And most of them are merit cum means scholarships So if you need help That can be provided here But rules are pretty strict here Education loan is definitely available
Campus Life
I will not say they are very good Bit they are decent for sure Gender ratio in my branch is good And worst in mechanical engineering Their are few very active cultural societies in our college can definitely help to explore your interest.
Hostel Facilities
I live in a pg which cost me around 9 thousand per month with food I went for hostel but it was not available All seats were full so I decided to take a pg But hostels are good And inside the campus as well
Alumni/Alumna
Yes for sure this is what it is about Alumni play a vital role in placements Being in Bangalore is a perk We get ample amount of opportunities to expand our Network which helps us No unfortunately I Never had any interaction yet.
Admission
This was the best college that I was getting. Placement statics we're good so I choose this Plus this college has a decent nirf ranking Which is dipping from past few years Previously it was 49 then 51 now 63 But still this year's placement stats were good.
Faculty
The teachers are qualified for sure But the way they teach is where they lack. I guess They know everything But the way they deliyis a bit confusing But still a student sitting in class with full intrest in what he/she is studying will sail him/her through.
