Remarks
The academics is highly enriching here but sometimes it can get a bit hectic hence one needs to manage his time efficiently here. Also extracurriculars are not very developed here owing to the high academic load but obviously if someone manages his time efficiently he can get involved in extracurriculars too.

The course curriculum at IIIT Hyderabad is well known to be highly rigorous,advanced and updated as per the latest academic and industrial standards.In fact it is well known to have one of the best CSE curriculums across the country. Placement Experience
The college offers one of the best placement opportunities in the country. Almost all of the students get placed. The placement offers comprise of domestic as well as overseas offers. The exact statistics about the placements are available on the institute's website. Yes companies also do come and offer internship opportunities for the summer after 3rd year. Since I am a second year student right now so I am not involved in any internships currently.
College Events
The biggest event in the college is the annual techno-cultural fest known as 'Felicity'. It is a three day event comprising of a range of cultural as well as technical events under its umbrella. Another big event is the R&D showcase where the current happenings and research going on in the various labs in the college is showcased by the professors and students.This is a highly interesting and informative event of the year.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Yes, the college' fees is a bit expensive but loans are easily available for those who cannot afford. Currently on an average 1.6-1.7 lakhs is the fees for 1 semester. The semester fees is higher for the first semester as compared to other semesters. Also the fees increases on an annual basis.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarship is offered to students who are under various special schemes of the CBSE or state boards. Special scholarships are available for girlsso as to maintain the gender ratio in the college. There is a mode of admission named SPEC which accepts these students.
Campus Life
One of the most important and enriching highlights of the college is the labs here. The labs are open 24 hours everyday and hence there is no limitation to the learning experience of any student here.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni network is very vast present and working at top companies and places of the world. The seniors are really helpful here and one can ask anything from any senior without any hesitation.The coding culture is one of the best in the countries and this owes a lot to the healthy senior-junior interaction in the college.
Admission
I got admission in IIIT Hyderabad through the JEE MAIN mode. Initially I had to register on the college's website to be eligible for taking admissions here.Then after the JEE Main result the cutoffs were released through 4 different rounds and so in the 3rd round I was offered a seat in the CSE branch which i accepted and paid the seat acceptance fee at that time. Then after a few days I had to pay the 1st semester fees. And then I came here and physically completed my registration process and from the next day the classes began. That was the entire process of admission.
Faculty
The faculty here is highly qualified and almost all of them are eminent researchers in their respective research areas. Again details about all the faculty and their qualifications can be viewed on the institute's website.
