Entrance Preview

I got this college (Manjara Charitable Trust Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology) through MHCET entrance exam. My score was 98. I opted for Electronics and Telecommunication. It was not difficult really to get admission into this college but my scores spoke and because of that i have opt out for the one i was getting. so, i took the admission even i didn't wanted to.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course is being taught as it's provided in the curriculum of the mumbai university. Just like other indian colleges, it focusses more on theory and less on practical subjects. i wouldn't call it bad in the first place but as a engineering student i always wanted to have more practical knowledge.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, it does as a reference. No companies come to visit our college for interns. We have to find one if we have to do intership then college provides us letter for the company to allow the students for the intership. I really don't have much idea about the stipend as i'm to work anywhere but it's normally around 4k,5k (a month) or no stipend at all.

Placement Experience

Campus placement is good. Many good company's come every year like L&T, Mahindra, Infosys, INautrix, etc.they normally offer salary range from 3 Lack p.a to 15 Lack p.a.only 15,20 students make their way into the top league of above 10lack p.a package while others normally gets aroung 3lack -4 lack p.a.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It's feasible than the other colleges.our first year fees is around Rs 90,000 which gradually increases every year.

YCCE College : My Experience

Placement Experience:

The placements are good in the YCCE college as compared to other colleges in Nagpur. From seventh semester the students are eligible for the campus reqruitments. The companies that offer placements in YCCE are Microsoft, TCS, Infosys, wipro, Persistent etc. The highest package is around 24 LPA and the average package is around 5 LPA. Around 70-80% students get placed every year in the college. My plans after getting the degree is to get a secure job and spent time with family.

college placements upto corona pendemic is very good but after that its affects our and other college palcements also but its better about 70% of student get placed . as per their performance in academics and skills . college bring very good package offer companies in first 6 to 8 months mostly and inbetween massrecuriter comes . and last 3 to 4 monts most of mass recuriter comes .

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement Experience:

The placements in my college are pretty good considering the Fact that mostly its the Top 2000-3000 students from Maharashtra that make it to this college. The average Package offered in the college is Around 11LPA while the highest package last year was around 48LPA. The names of the Top companies that have recruited students from my college include Adobe, Amazon and Mastercard. The placement percentage from the past few years has been above 90%. My plans after getting the Degree is either to continue my Cricket Career as a Proffesional or to become a Commercial Pilot.

1) I had also applied for other colleges like Thakur college and Somaiya college and I got addmission in thakur but didn't take admission as I was getting Information technology branch as a cource. Well i got my name for RGIT list in the first cap round itself but i wanted a better college like spit so i tuned rgit as plan b. I didnt get rejected from spit its that i never applied for other options like mechanical in spit. I chose cs in rgit. I got admission here through spot round i got a seat in vartak cs branch thru mh cet but it was a ews seat which was cancelled due to delay in ews submission because of an error from my side. keeping past aside i would say rgit is a decent clg but try for cs or it if possible and in case you want to get thrpugh spot round come asap and for management quota u should come before cap round 1 otherwise they charge u like crazy before spot round cs seat was for 6 lakhs after spot round it was available for 12 lakhs...Read More

This college is near my residence thus it eliminated the travelling issue also as I'm a sports enthusiast I opted this college over others.
