faculty is supportive and experienced here
Provides a outrage for various commities and clubs

Infrastructure is a huge setback as it is not that great

Curriculum is based on University of mumbai syllabus The application of curriculum is very much outdated and hence no practical knowledge is gained Teaching methodology should be improved College Timming should be minimised based on he syllabus

Campus life is boring and limited to area Nearby college area is nice to roam Only few festivals and dj nights are being organised Library have a great amount of study material Sports commity is good and developing

The cutoffs here are pretty decent EWS, TFWS seats are aloted No better college can be selected under low percentiles in MH-CET and JEE Admission can be also done through management quota There are several branches of engineering offered in RGIT

Faculty

Faculty-to-student ratio is 1:4 which is great Faculty - student relationship is proper bonding Very experience faculty help in academics There are 2 IA and 1 semester examination in a period of 6 months

Night Life

Gym is not properly mantiend Cafeteria food is bad public are is limited Hostels are not provided instead students have to live in PG,s Juhu beach, cafes, Iskon temple are few nearby places to hangout with friends

Students are allowed to sit for placements from sem 7. There are a few strict rules which could be avoided.A lot of companies visit the campus, including Walmart, Goldman Sachs, Citi, DE Shaw, Deutsche Bank, Wipro, etc. The highest package offered is around 30 lpa and the lowest is around 2.5 - 3 lpa. Almost 100% of students get placed. I'm planning on getting a good placement offer as well.

1) I had also applied for other colleges like Thakur college and Somaiya college and I got addmission in thakur but didn't take admission as I was getting Information technology branch as a cource. I got admission here through spot round i got a seat in vartak cs branch thru mh cet but it was a ews seat which was cancelled due to delay in ews submission because of an error from my side. keeping past aside i would say rgit is a decent clg but try for cs or it if possible and in case you want to get thrpugh spot round come asap and for management quota u should come before cap round 1 otherwise they charge u like crazy before spot round cs seat was for 6 lakhs after spot round it was available for 12 lakhs...Read More

This college is near my residence thus it eliminated the travelling issue also as I'm a sports enthusiast I opted this college over others. My Experince about MCT Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology Verosva

So i was getting B.Tech Chemical Engineering in NIT Srinagar but just beacuse of my boards marks i was not able to take admission in NIT plus my family said in kashmir instability and the I was getting a seat in SPIT Mumbai but just missed it by 0.43%tile so then I take admission in Rajiv Gandhi Institute fo Technology beacuse it is close to my Home like 10 - 15 minutes on Bike so If i have any Emergency I have assuarance I Will be at my House within 15 Minutes this is main concern as my friends took admission in COlleges of Vashi Panvel Vasai Virar Regretting it.For Admission you need Aggr 50% in boards P C M/Electronics in my case and you can get admission via MHT-CET band Yeas through JEE too but All India Quota is very less seats.Overall admission exprience was smooth and I Got my admission in around 3rd Round of MHT-CET...Read More
