Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is good enough. But it should be modified a little like having less modules. The exam time is given one and a half hour for 45 marks exam and 2 hours for 60 marks exam which is quite enough

Many companies have offered internships in our college like the tcs , adani , and many more . They offer internship from the third or the fourth year. The college gives projects to every group based on their department for the development

Placement Experience

The on campus placement of college is good average. The average package for a new student in on campus is of 5 to 7 lpa. Also the college offers the internship for the students from the 3rd and 4th year.

Fees and Financial Aid

Mine 1 year fees is 18201 with the vjnt category . The college fees is one lakh eight thousand but due to the CET exam which I was given my admission was alloted through the cap quota .soy fees was 18201 .

Campus Life

The college has annual functions like fest , sports , dance competition, racing competition and some competative exams also. The facility of classroom in college is average not in good condition and does not have ac .

Admission

I have applied to others colleges like Bhagubhai and thakur college of engineering. But due to my low percentage in MH CET I was alloted this college.The admission process of this college is very simple and easy

Faculty

The faculty of the college is good. There are two internal assessment exam for the semester 1 . Each internal exam is of 20 marks. To get pass in internals exam one should get average of 16 marks from 40

Interview Experience

No there were no group discussions or interview or written test for the admission. I got the admission on the basis of the rank I got in the MH CET examination. And in the cap round I was allotted the college

Night Life

The college has gym and a big cafeteria and also a big library. The college does not have any hostel because of the problem of land because the college is located in the main city. So if you are taking admission you have to be in a flat or pg.

placements start in 7th - 8th semester . Companies like wipro cisco and TCs etc visit. Average package is 4-5 LPA , and highest I could say 9 to 10 LPA .. my plans would be- if not got high paying job on campus I will try off campus too..

Placement Experience:

In my college students become eligible for campus placements from 7th semester and every year many companies come for hiring. Recently companies like TCS Accenture Cognizant Hitachi JSW Group Philips Axis Bank and some startups also visited so we get both IT and core chances. As per the latest data the highest package was around 24 LPA and the average stays around 6 to 6.5 LPA for most students and the lowest offers start from 3.5 LPA so it depends a lot on the role and company. Many students get placed but it mostly depends on skills performance and branch so it is not guaranteed for everyone. I feel the college gives decent chances but we also have to do our own preparation because competition is high. If I dont get placement from campus then I will try off campus also because there are many openings outside specially in IT. Overall placements are good for this level college and since companies keep coming for drives students who prepare properly usually get at least one offer.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. Practical v/s theoretical balance: Labs, workshops and real world projects are a core part of the structure, especially in engineering, design, and science programs. My experience of iiit pune

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements once they enter 3rd year of college. Some notable companies that visit the campus is nomura, walmart, amazon, nvidia and they take 5-6 candidates each while nomura takes 15-16 per year. The highest on campus is 43 lakhs while off campus is around 1.4cr. average package is 14-15 lpa mostly for swe roles. Percentage student getting placed is 50% oncampus and if we add off campus the number goes to 80%. I plan to work in the industry for 2-3 years and then try to go for masters.

1) I had also applied for other colleges like Thakur college and Somaiya college and I got addmission in thakur but didn't take admission as I was getting Information technology branch as a cource. I got admission here through spot round i got a seat in vartak cs branch thru mh cet but it was a ews seat which was cancelled due to delay in ews submission because of an error from my side. keeping past aside i would say rgit is a decent clg but try for cs or it if possible and in case you want to get thrpugh spot round come asap and for management quota u should come before cap round 1 otherwise they charge u like crazy before spot round cs seat was for 6 lakhs after spot round it was available for 12 lakhs...Read More

My Experince about MCT Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology Verosva

So i was getting B.Tech Chemical Engineering in NIT Srinagar but just beacuse of my boards marks i was not able to take admission in NIT plus my family said in kashmir instability and the I was getting a seat in SPIT Mumbai but just missed it by 0.43%tile so then I take admission in Rajiv Gandhi Institute fo Technology beacuse it is close to my Home like 10 - 15 minutes on Bike so If i have any Emergency I have assuarance I Will be at my House within 15 Minutes this is main concern as my friends took admission in COlleges of Vashi Panvel Vasai Virar Regretting it.For Admission you need Aggr 50% in boards P C M/Electronics in my case and you can get admission via MHT-CET band Yeas through JEE too but All India Quota is very less seats.Overall admission exprience was smooth and I Got my admission in around 3rd Round of MHT-CET...Read More
