What Students Say
Likes
- the infrastructure is quite decent for a clg
- the faculty is good as humans(quite understanding) and also good teachers
Dislikes
- no clubs or fests for 1st year students we didnt even get freshers party
- the clubs that exist are run by seniors and dont have proper functioning its very bias
- there is no campus or anything you can do in the college
Course Curriculum Overview
some teachers are good some are not and the ones that are not good have attitude problems like crazy they wont give a damn what you expect from them they will do what they wish to do curriculum is based on mumbai universitys' guidelines as per nep 2020
Fees and Financial Aid
The year wise fees i paid was around 1 lakh twenty five thousand for general category and it was around 70 thousand for sc/st category and if u want to take through management it depends upon the course it was 10 to 12 lakhs for computer science 5 to 7 lakhs for I.T. and 4 to 5 for A.I.D.S and for my branch it was 2 to 3 lakhs my branch being E.X.T.C or E.C.E i.e. electronics and telecommunications. no scholarships as such
Campus Life
No camus life at all as there is nothing but a canteen in the campus but if you make good friends the canteen can be good spot as the food is half decent . there are some social run groups but they are quiet biased and only select people who have connections to previous members or their friends. student portal is decent . library is good but open only during clg hours which sucks
Admission
I got admission here through spot round i got a seat in vartak cs branch thru mh cet but it was a ews seat which was cancelled due to delay in ews submission because of an error from my side. keeping past aside i would say rgit is a decent clg but try for cs or it if possible and in case you want to get thrpugh spot round come asap and for management quota u should come before cap round 1 otherwise they charge u like crazy before spot round cs seat was for 6 lakhs after spot round it was available for 12 lakhs
Faculty
faculties are very approachable and understanding. The faculty to student ratio is about 1 faculty for 20 students that is a faculty for every sub batch as a mentor and advisor. the batches are of 60 to 0 students further divided into three sub batches. there are two IA exams and one end sem which are not so difficult if you ll be consistent.
Night Life
gym is there but not accessible for students . cafetaria is good but only till 12 noon as anything available after that is either cold and soggy or most of the times nothing is available. nothing famous inside the college outside the college a student favourite is iskcon temple around 1.5 kms from clg
