The course is based on mumbai university syllabus so when university changes the syllabus pattern get changes but the university really need to update the syllabus as per industry ready os that student will be ready for markets
As since 10th only I did think of engineering. So it was quite simple to choose my EXTC stream because I was very fond of it. Teaching in our college was very much understandable as the faculties were very experienced. Most of the faculties were M.Tech or B.Tech holders. So their concepts were understandable. We used to have 2 term exams and one final exam for each semester. Term exams were of 20 marks and the final exam was of 70 marks and 30 marks practicals 32 was passing marks out of 70. Subjects were good except for some likes of Engineering mechanics, and circuit transmission lines. They were difficult to score.
I chose this course because I like telecommunications I wanted to pursue a degree in telecommunications so I opted for this course. Student intake for this course is 120. There is not any type of minority. Anyone can get to this college. Through cap as well as through institute round. Teachers are highly educated and experienced. You will definitely get the best education.
I personally had an interest in electronics and telecommunication engineering since long back as I had bifocal subject in my junior college which was electronics. In my branch the total no of seats are 120,the teachers and the staff are friendly and help students in sloving their problems. We have 2 sem exams and 2 unit tests each academic year.
I kept on learning electronics from the start itself. EXTC department in this particular institution gives an amazing exposure to students. The faculty is very helpful and kind. Most of the faculties are PHD holders and have great knowledge about the subjects. The exams conducted by the institutes are not much difficult. However the institute is very strict and punctual when it comes to assignments and submissions.
The syllabus is very big and more helpful for our future. Some subjects are very differently but since the teaching faculty is very good they teach us very good and also train for our betterment of future.
Course syllabus is updated after every 4 years but course content is still old and needs to be modified. Ultimately it's all outdated content, and university must introduce new updated technologies to study and make learning more interesting.
Fee structure was good at the time I was in college. It was almost fixed for three years. Fee was 80000. And other accessories had to be bought separately. But overall it was not very high in comparison to other good colleges in Mumbai. To secure an admission there were no charges. It has to come through only either entrance exam or CAP admission process. Transparency was also provided on the fee structure. It was well defined.
Yes, college provide transparency in fee breakdown. The college accepts fee in the form of demand draft. The program fee for the course is approximately 4 Lakhs for 4 years. There was admission also available from management quota, rather than CAP selections
