Remarks

Nothing negative but college fest and any kind of fests and fresher's party is missing in this college. It makes college life boring.

Course Curriculum Overview

Well course curriculum. Every subject covers all the details of the engineering field. Very well explained theory part. We have got labs as well.4 internal exams and 2 semesters in a year. Internal marks and lab marks are distributed.

Placement Experience

Job opportunities and placements are average. Our college doesn't provide any internships at all. This is the main drawback of our college. This is so pathetic that our college doesn't provide any internships.

College Events

Sports, Cricket matches and annual sports take place in our college. But this need to be improved at all. Also tech fest take place in our college. Tech quiz and many more functions take place in our college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible, semesters fee is feasible if you get admission through your entrance exam. And if you get admission through management quota still you get feasible amount. Overall, fees structure is good.

I have attempted in wbjee. Then According to my rank I got into the councelling of the wbjee. Then I have got selected in this particular college.

Faculty

Every faculty of our college are very helpful. They are highly qualified and very well educated. They are well in behaviour. They all are well in communication. All are lovely. We have got well atmosphere along with them.

NIT Durgapur:-A wholesome Insight in the college life and it's different aspects

Placement Experience:

For campus placements student become eligible from the 7th semester onwards and for internships student get eligible from 5th semester onwards. Wide no of companies visited our campus around 180+ and made around 580+ offers to the students. The highest salary was 58LPA which was offered by DE Shaw and the highest accepted salary was 51LPA in Microsoft.The average package rolls roughly around 10-12 LPA.The profile offered include SDE roles, management roles,finance in some cases.The overall placement percentage was around 80% with Branches like electrical and metallurgy moving above 90% followed by CSE and ECE in the mid 80s while for biotech and civil the placement percentage are generally below 70.My plans after getting the degree is to land a job offer from on campus placements.Therefafter maybe look out for and MBA from top B schools of india.

Placements depends on your skills Usually there is a compulsory internship at the end of 3rd year If you didnt get it via college you should do it from outside but its compulsory And at the end of 4th year you get placement. Placemeng isnt 100% . If you have the skill you will get placed thats the criteria.many people say you are in IIT your life is sorted .but that aint the reality
