Course curriculum is no more less than the premiere IIT institutes and is sufficient and enhances your knowledge.The curriculum is based and developed by the Pune university.

Internships Opportunities

Cairn ace and other companies do come and 20k stipend is offered for a month. Various companies do visit as this college is one of the oldest college for this particular branch. They train you for placements and various selection procedures are conducted.

Placement Experience

Ongc -10 lpa Cairn ace - 13 lpa Schlumberger - 11 lpa, Most companies do come, Halliburton, Emerson, Oil Sterling, Oil Weather ford etc.

The fee structure for a year is 1.14 lakhs.The fees mentioned above is for the general catogory. There are various quotas applicable. eg for SC/St fees is 7k and so for TWFS.

MIT pune is well renowned for extra curricular activities which go well throughout the year be it technical or non technical. The college takes part in various competitions such as Robocon and is well renowned for it. Other cultural groups and completions such as Supra Sae and Bajaj also are conducted.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facilities are not up to the mark. The food is not that great. Students prefer to rent a flat and stay in a group. The flat accommodation is pretty good and preferred by all.

The college seniors and alumini are pretty good and supportive and are always there for any need or help. There are groups which coordinates the activists between them and the college.

There are basically two exams throughout the year, One us the in sem exam consisting of 30 marks And the other is of 70 marks. This exam structure is by the university of pune.

A Balanced Engineering Experience with Good Campus LIfe and Supportive Faculty at RIT

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college are decent, especially for computer related branches. Students usually become eliggible for campus placement from the 7th semester. The placement cell conducts taining programs from earlier semesters, including aptitude tests, technical sessions and mock interviews to prepare students. Many companies visit the campus every year, mainly from the IT and software sector. Some ofthe common recruiters include companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Cognizant and mid level companies. A few products based or higher paying companies also visit for specific branches. The average package is usually around 4-6 LPA while the highest package can go above 10-12 LPA in some years, especially for computer science and IT students. The placement percentage varies by branch, but overall, around 70-80 % of eligible students get placed with higher percentages in computer related branches. As for my personal plan, after completeing my degree, I aim to get a good campus placement in a reputed company and start my career in the engineering field. I also plan to keep improving my technical and communication skills during the course to increase my chances of getting a better package.

Campus Placements are available in my college and probably students get it in third year (i. e. 5th or 6th semester). Most of the students gets placed in the company where they worked as intern. i had applied for ahemdabad university as well. I got admission there as well but i was waiting for confirmation of admission from this college. I chose this college over AU just because this one was located in Pune-the IT hub, and they had made pretty good name all these years. MIT-WPU is world class!!

MIT has its own evaluation test and also 12th marks minimum of 60% in PCM for general category is just. For SC/ST and OBC is 50% and also get respite in entrance scores and fees as well.
