Remarks

Positive part is that this university is located in a peaceful area away from the city where students can find peace of mind. Sometimes this has some negative effects like we have a little difficulty in travelling to the city

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The couse is prepared on the basis of CSIR-NET syllabus. They update it every year according to the requirement. Exam for each paper is of 100 marks. 40 marks internal and 60 for end semester exam. Practical paper has its own way of distribution of marks.

Placement Experience

1.5

The campus placement is not so good till now as the university is now and is in developing stage. Moreover this is not a technical institute also. But students get jobs after graduating from here. I think our university is not providing any internship facility here till now.

College Events

2.5

As the University is in South India, south Indian festivals like pongal and onam is celebrated nicely. People will get to know about different cultures here. Holi and diwali is also celebrated. Different sports and other events are being conducted thoughout the year from various departments.

Fee Structure And Facilities

For my course the fee structure is around 7000 ruppees per semester. I feel it is feasible because this is a goverment institute and the fee structure has been made keeping in mind about students from different backgrounds. Scolarships are also provided.

Fees and Financial Aid

Students get INSPIRE scholarships. And there are many scholarships for economically backilward or SC/ST students. For single girl child also there is some scholarship. Phd students get some stipend.

Campus Life

5

Labs are of highly advaced quality in our department. Students pursuing master's course will get a lot of benefits. For sports there a an indoor sports stadium in MP hall and a play ground is there. Gym facility is also there in girls and boys hostels.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Yes I have opted for hostel. The hostel fee in only 250 ruppees per semester. The infrastructure is nice. It has lifts, gym, almost 24*7 electricity and water supply. Room service is also there when required.

Alumni/Alumna

As the University is new i.e. only ten years old, as per my knowledge the alumni network is not much strong till now. But seniors are very helpful. This is a zero percent ragging campus. Seniors help us in every aspects.

Admission

Got to know about CUCET exam. Gave it. Then after the declaration of marks I got a mail for the university for counselling. I went there and got selected on the basis of marks I got in the CUCET exam.

Faculty

4

Almost all faculties are highly qualified and most of them have a several years of experience also in the field of teaching. Sometimes we get some faculties who are not so good in teaching. Most of the time all faculties will be nice and friendly.

Actually I am currently in seconnd semester right now, I am not sure about the eligiblity criteria for campus placements. But I gathered some informations about the placement process with the help of students who completed their degree here recently. Most of the students having skills in demand based on the company requirements will get selected. Companies with good reputation will visit during campus placements. My aim was to getting placed in a company with good reputation and descent salary package.
