Remarks
The college has no downside. Every student studying in the university will enjoy every bit of it while the stay.The only thing that lacks in the institute is a resting palace.Students having long intervals during their class have no place to rest in the institute so they either go back to their dorm or the library just for rest.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is based upon CBCS system.Students get to choose their desired subjects according to the availability of seats. Final exams are conducted every 6 months followed by an exams of 30 marks which is added accordingly to the final exam results.
Placement Experience
The college doesn't provide placements and job opportunities to the students as it consist of only regular post graduate degree.It doesn't provide internship.The student is directly given out the degree certificate.
College Events
The events and cultural programs are usually celebrated.The students are very heart warming.Programs like fresher's ,new years Eve,sports day,bihu are celebrated with too much affection.Days like teachers day,Independence day have a great impact in the college.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is collected every 6 months before the final exams.The fees is usually not more than 8000 each.without including hostel fees.The fees is collected in their respective streams.An ATM card is required for payment.
Fees and Financial Aid
As to my knowledge the college doesn't provide any loans to the students.The central government gives scholarship to the ones who applied for it and only upon certain terms.Like if your family earns 250000 a year.
Campus Life
The college has their respective labs based on the subjects consisting of chemistry lab botany lab zoology lab and computer lab.Sports like football volleybal is equally practised.The college celebrated sports day every year.
Hostel Facilities
No. I haven't opted for hostel yet.But a friend of mine actually lives in the college hostel.Speaking to him I got to know the hostel is very disciplined.The hostel manager takes care of the hostel meaning checking the student rooms for unusual behavior. The hostel food is quite good.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni of the college is very helpful and respectful.The college mantains to celebrate their young and old alumni together.During cultural programs the alumni are called upon and asked to rejoice with their juniors.
Admission
The admission criteria is based upon the marks obtained in 12th standard which is acquired from a recognized board.Students need to fill up an application form and submit it to the authority concerned.merit list will be provided based on the marks and several quotas.
Faculty
The college faculty is very well disciplined.The subject departments are divided accordingly.The authorities are very concerned and helpful in every need.The environment is very well mannered and distributed accordingly.
