Bhattadev University Pathsala, BA, Political Science

Remarks

The factor that i choose this university- 1. Located in town area, so we don't have to travel much from the university campus to market. 2. Previously it was known as Bajali College, a well known college of assam, a great educational hub. 3.Department of Political science is the best department of this university. 4. Nearer to my home.

Course Curriculum Overview

Yes the syllabus was updated, it was made by reviewing with the many other universities syllabus. Faculties are also good to encouraged us.They helping us to clearify our doubts. There are 6 faculties, sometime some guest faculty also invited.

Class Size: 25Course Fees: INR 60000 per year

Placement Experience

Placement rate is overall good because many of our seniors getting jobs by teaches linkage, though they are temporary post but these are enough to stand yourself as i think. There are alumni meets in every year and we get the opportunity to interact them about their future.

College Events

There are lots of cultural programs in our university campus. There auditorium, swimming pool, playgrounds, sufficient laboratory facilities, library facility alongwith digital library. We really enjoyed all the programs specialy general frshers.

Thoughts regarding my college

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placement in 5th semester.Various companies come for placement like HDFC bank and more.The package that was offered was around 2lpa in 2024.During our time placement drive was organised in 5th semester but the companies demanded immediate joining which was not possible for us to join since we were already left with one more semester to complete .

Placements are good . Around 60% students gets placed. More than 250+ companies visits. Many students are preferring DS and Non Tech roles after graduation ( for core branches ) and they are getting good opporutunities in them aswell.

Placement Experience:

The placement is quite good in my college. In 7 th semester the placements start and the package goes from 16lpa to 2 cr . About 75 percent student who applied got placed . I want to work in a software firm.

My recalls with Assam women's University

Admission:

My course period for B.A. Psychology in Assam Women's University was relatively decent and leisure. I memorized a bunch of things and got orientation to a new territory assisting me to grow and memorize better. The thing I liked was that the university provided diploma, undergraduate and postgraduate courses for all streams as applied science, arts, technology, industry, commerce, management, and social science. The university also has proper infrastructure.

Admission:

1st you have to Form fillup,where you have to fillup your previous Examination Marks, after that A merit list will published, than in a specific date you have to go to admission.You have to pay some money to admit in our college.

Firstly, we had to apply for respective departments which one wants to take an honours. Then ,cut off percent is taken out and students are given admission to that department as honours student.

Best college of lower assam

I am a graduation student at Bhattadev University. College is very peaceful. I am from the physics department. All the rooms in my department are very modern. I am a 2020 batch student. Due to Covid more than half of the admission process was done through online. There was no entrance exam for admission. The cut-off for admission was 63% and for getting a major in physics I needed a minimum of 75 marks on it....Read More
