Remarks

Overall Very Good place for Study. Only negative point is the Surroundings. Located in peripheral Delhi. And sometimes not safe at night time. Administration block has also some problems. But all matter to a Medical student is Study, So choose UCMS.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

MBBS is Toughest Course according to Many Articles. But I am enjoying this Toughness. Time management is must for a Medical Student. There are 19 subjects and You have to know all the subjects at the end of course. Semesters, Sentups and Proffs are 3 levels of exams.

Placement Experience

5

It’ a known fact that Placements and Job opportunities are Very fine for a Medical student passed from the Delhi University. Yes College provides Internship. 22.5k stipend is currently given to the Interns by the Government. I am currently in 5th Semester, So can’t tell you about Experience.

College Events

1

The Annual College fest named “Ripple”. Sports week in name of “Arena” Volleyball tournament Kabaddi tournament Athletics Badminton Table tennis Online Gaming competitions- PUBG, Clash Royale etc. Chess

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is very Feasible. Annual charges of College fee are About 5k to 6k. Though UCMS is a Government College So no issue related to Fee will occur because it is very very less And can be afforded by everyone.

Fees and Financial Aid

Sadly No Scholarship/ Loan facilities are offered by the College or government to Medical students.College need to start Some sort of Scholarships for the Students good in academics for encouraging them to Do more and more good in future.

Campus Life

3

Extracurricular activities are all Excellent in UC. We have 2 grounds for Cricket and Volleyball and Football. All activities maintained by the Students themselves. Labs are good, have sufficient required materials But Materials are too old.

Hostel Facilities

4

Yes I live in Hostel. Single rooms are given to all the students which is a good point but Rooms are very very small. And ACs are Strictly restricted in the Hostel rooms, Soo sometimes its suffocating being in the room.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors of UC are very very helpful. Alumni network is very strong. Many of the Alumni are in Foreign countries US, UK who help the Students by giving them guidance to the exams like USMLE and others. Seniors also mark the Juniors book if they asked To help them in studies.

Admission

First Choose Biology in your 11th and 12 th Classes. Study the subjects properly 2 years and prepare for MCQs related to subjects. Then after 12th class an Entrance test will happen named NEET(National Eligibility cum Entrance test). Appear for NEET. You have to score atleast Minimum Cut off marks for being eligible for the counselling for college admission after results. Then Counselling details will be updated by the University on their Website. Follow the website information And appear for Counselling. In counselling according to your rank and merit Choose the College You wanted to. Then Go to the college and then Fill the Admission form, Present your all Original documents to the Administration block And Pay the Fees. Now Welcome to the All New Life.

Faculty

4

Teaching faculty of UC is very excellent. And also They are very cery helpfull too. Everyone in UC is in reach for students and they are always ready to help you in any problem of yours. Most of the PGs and SRs are very interactive with the UGs and help them in Studies a lot and in Postings too.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum has been revised in 2019 and the new curriculum (CBME: Competency-Based Medical Education) is all about patient-based approach and clinical approach which is very amazing since that's how we'll be dealing with patients in real life. The faculty of Lady Hardinge is amazing as long as you're willing to learn. The practical sessions especially are the best since you get to see everything you've learnt in theory. The syllabus is very vast and it's very difficult but you can do fairly well if you go through it consistently. The term exams are held before each semester and after every year you need to give professional exams also known as 'proffs'. You'll have to pass the proffs in order to be promoted to next year which is very easy if you have a grip on the basics.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The college has 4 to 5 permanent faculties and 2 faculty from the base hospital Delhi Cantt. in each department. That is 1 teacher for approx 15 students. The teachers are all super specialised in their respective fields and mostly all are very efficient in teaching while following the latest MCI guidelines. there are a total of 4 exams a student has to give mid-term, end terms, pre-proof and proofs. The exams are all designed to ensure that the passing students are eligible to be called doctors but not so tough as to fail a lot of students. An average result has about 15 fails in 100 students

I did my MBBS from NDMC Medical College which was worth it. The college has great education system with a good faculty and nice campus with a green cover. The college has a hostel but it is not as good so I would recommend staying outside campus. The training programmes and practicals bring in depth to studying at this college.

Remarks:

There is no negative news about this college, everything is best here. Few points on aiims -*College management is also perfect. *Faculty members never tried to shun their responsibilities with respect to teaching, research and patient care. Senior students were required to teach their juniors on a regular basis, even in OT's (operation theatre). *Get together were organised during celebrations of important festivals which included admitted patients. All religions were given importance.
