Remarks

My college a few years back was one of the best in the state now it's struggling a bit to keep the name. The reason is the large no of students enrolling through management quota. And causes a downfall in the results.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

The course curriculum is a bad one that instructs the college to teach age-old topics that are irrelevant in today's world. The exam structure is also an old one that does not check the student's practical knowledge.

Placement Experience

3

Placements are one of the important plus points of my college. That is the main reason why my college is one of the most sought-after in the state. College does not provide many internship opportunities. Students seek these opportunities themselves.

College Events

3

Hestia is a techno-cultural fest conducted every year in our college. Students from all over the state come to take part. It's a mega-event that hosts many programs like workshops and other events that enrich the technical skills of students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is feasible. For students who enrolled through a merit list the fee is minimal. The exam fees demanded by the universities are a bit high for the way in which they conduct the exam.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are scholarships for students who come from poor economic backgrounds. Through which they have to pay minimal or no fee for academic and accommodations. Also, there are scholarships that provide money for students to buy laptops and other necessary equipment.

Campus Life

2.5

There are many forms of sports promoted here. We have a basketball court a squash court a badminton court tennis court and a football court. Sports activities are regularly conducted here. Much intercollege competition happens here.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni association is very strong they are very supportive they keep regular contact with us and support us when placements start. They update us on the criteria and train us according to the criteria laid by companies.

Admission

Appeared for KEAM 2018 and waited for the rank list to get published. After that enrolled in the allotment process and got allotted to the college and appeared for counseling and took electronics and communication.

Faculty

2.5

Most of the faculties are having lots of degrees. But only some of them are good teachers. Many of them lack conceptual knowledge and depend just on textbooks. Only some are really committed to the profession.

Placement Experience:

From S3 we start to get placement training but S3 training is just a small training the tell you the basics and everything but from s5 the campus placement training, they take it seriously and the percentage of students getting placement is low. But because the college is autonomous they say the autonomous batch will have a 50% placement

Placement Experience:

The placement here is top notch. This year in my campus the highest CTC offered was 56.5lpa by PALOALTO. Placements process is centralised at coimbatore though. Students are eligible for campus placements from third year or s5. Average package in computing department ranges from 10-12lpa. My plans after degree is to pursue MS: opportunities of which are provided by the college itself. In computing department almost 90% of the students have been placed according to the seniors I talked to. However it is lower in other streams.
