The fees structure is very high. No much extracurricular activities provided. The college infrastructure is not that very good pf others. The good thing is that the college faculties are very helpful and active. They teach very good and they do anything for their students
Course Curriculum Overview
The course Naval Architecture has its own scope and is one of the best course available now. The exam is based on semesters. We have total 8 semesters. The marks are finalised also by the internal exams which are of 2 tests for each subject.
Placement Experience
There is in campus placements but the placement rates are very low. The college will help you find internship within the field and there will be no stipend given. They have their own contacts and helps the students to get there.
College Events
The college isnnot very active in the events celebrsted. Being a maritime college,they are very strict in celebrations and all. We have been only given 3 chances of celebrations that itself has been cancelled due to many reasons.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees structure is bit expensive for our course which is Naval Architecture and we pay around 3 lacs anually. Some other courses at the college has relatively low fees than other courses presentbhere.
Fees and Financial Aid
I have no idea about the scholarship porvuded at the college. But there are some inhouse scholarship provided by the government and for merit students. For more we have to check with the admissions office.
Campus Life
The labs are well equipped with enough instruments and the infrastructure is very good. There are different types of sports available at the campus. They also have enough amenities. The college also has some other curricular activities.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes the seniors are very helpfull. They have helped us with some of our projects and have brought they’re own companies for placements and recruited a very few students. Overall they are very helping
Admission
They first asked me a donation of rupees 1.5 lacs apart from the fees and later it was reduced to 70k. But givingg donation is not necessary as it is just the polictics play in the admission office. We are then given a written exam of Physics,Maths and Chemistry. And then we have to attend an interview.
Faculty
The faculties are very fine helping and also teaches very well. They are well experienced and also graduated from various IITs. Some of the faculties have even served for the country and some have worked with the international companies.
