Very good college. Management is also great. Great place for studies and fun for students.

The course curriculum is very good. Biotech is one of the best branches in NITTE. HOD is really good and supportive. Exams are regular. 2 internals out of 20, and 2 tasks for 5marks (or 5tasks for 2marks each). A total out of 50- 20 is mandatory to be eligible to give finals. If the total is more than 30: the student is eligible for makeup exams.

Placements depend on year to year. In the 2019 batch, most of them were not placed. The reason being MRCs like Infosys and Accenture had an issue with non-IT branches. 2020 placements were pretty impressive. Most of the students, even from non-IT branches are placed. The internships provided in Japan for students is really good.

The incident is a technocultural national level fest. It takes place for about 3-4days in February. It has all the events and students of every branch get to organize a set of events. They also celebrate Karnataka Rajyotsava and Onam. Previously there were Dandya nights as well. Holi celebration is there in Hostels.

First-year fees were around 1.2L as mine was a management seat. The next three years were 1L each. Another expense would be traveling: I had opted for a college bus and which was around 15000 per year. Really good food is served at college canteen and other nearby restaurants for a reasonable price

No. I have not opted for any scholarships or education loans as much as I’m aware. Plenty of scholarships are available if enquired in the office.

Campus life was really fun. It’s a place of gossips. Make sure you know the people you hang out with. The gender ratio is balanced. Biotechnology mostly has girls and mechanical only boys. The rest of the branches is totally balanced. People from different states, caste, religions are all treated unbiasedly. A really good place to learn about life and have fun. All kind of extracurricular was supported and encouraged. A really good ground BC ALVA for sports, Incridea fest for overall development, well equipped labs for students

Every year there will be an alumni meet in the month of April or so. The placements team really puts up all the efforts to make sure they stay in touch.

I had to go to NMAM institute of technology’s other office at Deralakatte, filled the form, paid the fees and got the seat all in one day. Now you can do it in the Nitte office as well. Mine was a payment seat, so it’s easier. Through CET you'll have to go through different rounds.

Really good faculty. Biotech has really great approachable teachers. Since the branch is small, teachers are really into the topics well and well aware about students whereabouts. The faculty is friendly as well. They support all extracurricular activities.
