Remarks

College has wide and good labs, faculties are awesome and big workshop is there for students who participated competitions like go kart and supra, it will provide funds for projects. There is small drinking water problem only

Course Curriculum Overview

Engineering is most favourite course among students. The curriculum is understandable and gives all technical knowledge regarding your course. Exam structure is based on pune university exam pattern. It's 70-30 pattern 30 marks for insem exam and 70 for end sem exam.

Placement Experience

Placements are average but good. Big companies like infosys, infotech hired students from campus and many other technical non technical companies hired students through placement drive. No college doesn't provide internship but it supports students for internships in companies and grant leave for respective.

College Events

As we have total 14 colleges in campus we have a large cricket and football ground, basketball court, badminton and long tennis courts. Sports events and other annual events are celebrated. Other than this freshers, and other parties are also celebrated

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee is very less as compared to other colleges it ranges between 70000 to 80000 for open category and for reservations it depends on respective categories. It is very feasible and you can pay through online and card payment is acceptable

Fees and Financial Aid

Loan facility is allowed for students and other scholarships are given based on your categories and marks. Government schemes like EBC , government post matric scholarship is given to students. And required help is provided

Campus Life

College have very big campus ground which included separate cricket and football ground, indoor badminton court, basketball and tennis courts, swimming pool and many other labs like gym. They are good and excellent

Alumni/Alumna

Yes the campus is ragging free campus so there is strong bond between freshers and seniors. They are very helpful in nature and good. Alumni lectures are arranged time to time to guide new students. There are lot to learn from them

Admission

After 12th I filled online form for engineering admissions. And through cap round I got alloted to this college Dr. D Y Patil school of engineering and technology, lohegaon, pune and I got admission in this college.

Faculty

Faculties are well educated and all are post graduated and PhD holder and some are pursuing PhD. They have excellent communication ,good knowledge and excellent interaction between faculties and students.

placements start in 7th - 8th semester . Companies like wipro cisco and TCs etc visit. Average package is 4-5 LPA , and highest I could say 9 to 10 LPA .. my plans would be- if not got high paying job on campus I will try off campus too..

Placement Experience:

In my college students become eligible for campus placements from 7th semester and every year many companies come for hiring. Recently companies like TCS Accenture Cognizant Hitachi JSW Group Philips Axis Bank and some startups also visited so we get both IT and core chances. As per the latest data the highest package was around 24 LPA and the average stays around 6 to 6.5 LPA for most students and the lowest offers start from 3.5 LPA so it depends a lot on the role and company. Many students get placed but it mostly depends on skills performance and branch so it is not guaranteed for everyone. I feel the college gives decent chances but we also have to do our own preparation because competition is high. If I dont get placement from campus then I will try off campus also because there are many openings outside specially in IT. Overall placements are good for this level college and since companies keep coming for drives students who prepare properly usually get at least one offer.

Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. My experience of iiit pune

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements once they enter 3rd year of college. Some notable companies that visit the campus is nomura, walmart, amazon, nvidia and they take 5-6 candidates each while nomura takes 15-16 per year. The highest on campus is 43 lakhs while off campus is around 1.4cr. average package is 14-15 lpa mostly for swe roles. Percentage student getting placed is 50% oncampus and if we add off campus the number goes to 80%. I plan to work in the industry for 2-3 years and then try to go for masters.

All in all the college is average in terms of academics. But in the terms of sports, campus life, hostel quality sanitation it fares very well. Academics in the entc department is very encouraging and helpfuland induatry centered. They even have an incubation cell and entrepreneurship cell for the industry intercation with the students but is limited only to entc and comp. The admin department is very poor. The admin department has no value for the students time and seems to accomplish tasks at its own convinience. So the admin department doea not have my vote.
