My college experience

management of departments are best. Hostel level management is need to chane a bit as the politics is included of localites .Every thing is good here except the local person control on iit is a matter of concern.

I gave GATE . I score 607/1000 . I got this college in fourth round counselling and its IIT man. how can i miss this?

Good .Basically it is easy to go in research field after M.tech from here . The course and subject selection and the freedom of choosing subjects gives you all the thing what u want . I choose finite element course here as i am interested in structures and want to excel in structures fieldi am doing my m tech ion structuress specialization.

We are in m.tech here so our second year project itself is a type of internship and good quality u level . As mhrd paid us the sufficient amount of stipend. All reputated companies like boeing airbus honeywell general electric general motors (in core) and analytics companies came here for placement and took good amount of students from here.

This year around an average of 9 lakh per annum of package offering are their till now . last year around 80 percent of students placed those who sits in the placement. Top recruiters were goldman sacks , flipcart, amazon, banks , analytics companies , software profile companies ,spo many core companies .are there .

Cultural spring fest my god so huge all cultural events from dance show to drama . Singing to art . Everything tech fest - kshitiz robotics to aeromedelling . Designs to models , new ideas every thing management , Guest lectures frequently, business models , business quiz, all r on the cards of iit kgp.

This is IIT no loads of fees the only load here is up to the reach level once in after level of exam . you r set in ur life this place is a hub of intelligent minds competeting with each other and making more sharp themselves. however for btech around 70000 per year and for m tech 10000 per semester.

loan facility is always available for each and every student here . Bundle of scholarship are available through out the year . Basically once admitted to college u can take care of all ur expences by picking up the study loan as their is security of getting placed from here.

Campus life i think the best in india is here biggest campus of all in all iits.ender ratio is also in a fain proportion one girl is their for per three students. Very diverse all students are from different part of the country you and even foreign students are their. Well facility of labs with all equipments,good sports culture,healthy competition atmosphere,and technical facility are available here.

Hostels here are very big and lots of hostels are there we r in mmm hall of residence though the food is not up to the level but lots of dhabas are there to ful fill our need s here we r happy to have such big facility and management. in holidays the mess

Seniors are very helpfull here luckily i had my senior very well known . Even they are connected to us after even leaving the college their is connection of alumini due to alumini cell established here . All seniors are connected to the collegs even after pass out .

Yes the schedule is very hectic and exams are always on the cards . so much labs and workshops are in the curriculam . we only feel relaxed here on saturday sunday . other wise very busy schedule. but even saturday sunday went on busy on extra curricular
