Remarks

Our college has a good campus and good ambience to study!it's a very good college with many friends and teachers! Has many extra curricular activities and also sports ! There are frequent matches tech fests etc in our college for the enjoyment of our students

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is kind of hard ! But gives enough free time for other requisite activity's ! There are 8 semesters and each semester has 6 subject exams In each semester there is 3 sets of internals which decide weather your eligible to write the semester exam or not

Placement Experience

Yes our college does offer internships ! When were in 3rd year of our coarse completion! Hence our college does strive for our future profession and job security ! Oour college holds the placement record in Kerala for 156 placements per year

College Events

College events are fun filled activities it is celebrated with music and many technical workshops it's is both cultural and educational fests! There are band shows etc Which is very entertaining ! Dance competitions are also there

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is kind of expensive as it is a private college and 1 lakh rupees is needed as tuition fee per year that is you need 5 lakhs for course completion! But if you gain any scholarships it would be much more feasible

Fees and Financial Aid

Through many exams like keam jee and our financial background we can obtain many scholarships ! And loan facility is available for everyone in our college! And there are scholarships awarded each year in our college

Campus Life

There are many tech fests sports matches IEEE events pptia fest ! All of the fests are fun and he'll us learn through fun hence making our college one of the best colleges available in Kerala for an engineering degree

Alumni/Alumna

We don't meet the alumni students much ! But when we do they help us and guide us and they mentor us about life after our course and how we should fight for survival! Which exams should be written after our course etc

Admission

Admission is granted through entrance exam ! KEAM exam ranks are used as the selecting criteria for the college! Ranks are alloted and and we select our colleges according to our priority! The government decides a college from the given priority list and our rank! We can also aquire management seat with our +2 grades but extra fees is required for the same

The faculty of our college is good ! Highly educated and certified teachers ! They are very helpful and passionate teachers which help us in every sector of our life including personal and educational

Life at CET

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of the college is very active. You can get internships starting 2nd year and placements starting 3rd year. About 75% of people get placed. Many MNCs like Texas Instruments are consistent hirers. The highest package of 2025 for my course is 1 crpa. The average is about 7 lpa. A student can get 5,6 offers. I plan on higher studies abroad because I want to learn more in-depth about the course.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester and internship from 3rd semester. You can apply for internship on your own right from first semester but college gives aid from 3rd semester. The major recruiter is ISRO which offers 40-45 jobs for aerospace engineering. Also other companies like CDac Airbus Boeing and DRDO and HAL visit for recruitment. Nearly 85-90% students get placed while some opt for Higher education and research too. My primary goal is to get into ISRO also I will be preparing for gate examination to complete my IIT dream.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was never interested in engineering. I passed KEAM entrance exam. So my parents forced me to become an engineer. Since I was interested, I thought food technology might be a good branch in engineering. So I got admission in KUFOS through allotment. The course is actually good . In the 1st year, you study basic engineering, 2nd year onwards food related courses are taught. If you are a student who only have the intention to study you will find this college easy to adjust. They provide all facilities to study. There is no particular frequency for a semester. Even though academic calender is there for each batch it is not followed properly. In this college the course may last upto 4.5 years. Due to this reason the students ask the management to cut shot semester breaks so that they won't loose 1 year.

Remarks:

I only have postive thoughts about that campus. The campus helped me to remove my pre-occupations, inhibitions, fear etc. It gave a lot of memorable moments, large number of friends. The most special thing about the college is those memorable friendships with the faculties whos understand students very well.

The other colleges i applied was all govt colleges.i couldn't got the rank to get there because i got less rank in keam exams.so i choose the best college i could get on my marks. I got 25526 rank in keam examination such that i cracked in here and also i wanted to be here because my super seniors where here they also insisted me that scms school of engineering is a good college.our college is a managemental college accredited by govt either we should crack keam exam or we should jee exam or we be nri quota. These are the 3 methods that we can get to scms school of engineering. SSET- from the viewpoint of a student

I applied to government colleges and MITS ,RIST and FISAT too among with SSET. But I got confirmation letter from SSET in my first allotment itself. I choose SSET because it has a great infrastructure and wide possibility of opportunities. One of my relative was an alumni of this college and I got to know about the college from her perspective. The response I got from others whenever I asked about my college was really positive and hence I chose SSET. I never got rejection from other colleges I applied to, I simply chose to settle in the first college I got allotted after my KEAM Rank list got published. I chose SSET over other colleges because other colleges were really expensive and I never wanted to push my family to go through such a hard time just for my education. Even though I got admitted to a really great college with a high quality course the fees there in one sem was twice the amount I had to pay in SSET for a year The admission process of my college was quite simple.All we had to do was submit my certificates and sign a few papers. It Lasted only one and half hours. The eligibility to get here included passing the KEAM Exam and having 50% or more pass mark in plus two. The student must have studied Science subject with either Biology or Computer Science as the main Subject. My overall admission experience was really great.
