College Review

Positives are plenty and mentioned above. Good infrastructure and food facilities. The issue might be of travel since many people come here from Mangalore or Udupi so travel takes an hour and a half. But there are college buses which are good. All in all , a good place to be and study.

Since it is an autonomous institute, the courses are determined by the college itself and not VTU board. The subjects are chosen so as to provide students with maximum exposure to various areas. Exams are conducted where in there are 2 internals and a semester end exam.

The college has a very good placement ratio for branches like CS IS although the placement for certain other branches aren't that great. There are certain number of core companies. Internships are provided in the college under the guidance of certain trained people from different backgrounds.

Various events happen in the college. The mainstage is Incridea, the techno cultural inter college fest which is for 4 days. It's great and fun filled! Also sports day cultural day traditional day and even certain festivals are celebrated.

For the admissions done through the CET entrance exams the fees structure is very much feasible. With management seats the fee structure is a touch higher though. However there is certain scholarships that are available here.

Scholarships are provided here by the government funds as well as college funds. It's based on the marks and the annual income as well. There are certain conditions for availing scholarships. We can apply for scholarships in first year itself.

Extra curricular are also good. Various different clubs and these clubs conduct different fun activities every now and then. Sports dance singing and various different scopes available. We've got a very good sports team here. Labs and other things are also okay.

Seniors are the best people in the college. Very helpful very good to get along with. It's great fun to organise various events with them. Also for different projects they guide us also we can work along with them too.

Through State entrance examination ,KCET. Basically the seats depend on the entrance exam ranks and the fees structure is decided by it. Once we get the seat, the college admits the students by certain procedures of its own as it is autonomous institute.

The faculty are good and knowledgeable and provide you with a good guidance for various projects that help students can work on. Classroom teaching is sort of okay to be honest, it also depends on which lecturer too
