Remarks

No such positive or negative remarks about college because it lacks in too many aspects where growth of an individual is must. Also there is a deep scarcity of resources to enhance one's overall growth.

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

College is affiliated to UTU and follows the same curriculum and the examinations carried out are classified into two internal examinations of 15 marks each and external examinations have weightage of 100 marks. Rest of the internals are provided on assignments and attendence basis

Placement Experience

2

There is no industrial exposure from college side and we have to go in pool campus drives which take place in different colleges. The TPO of college makes some arrangements regarding the appearance of students of college in their drives

College Events

1.5

The college organizes a cultural fest annually named scintilla and an annual sports meet named spardha. Rest of the events are conducted by students like technical fests and different coding competitions. Also college sometimes provide workshops for different technologies but that is not frequent

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is feasible for middle clads people to persuade the course. The fee is distributed into two semester amount approx 33k each semester. Along with that we have to pay an amount of 12k for hostel mess

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships are provided to the top 5 students in the class. Some of obc sc st caste groups, kashmir migrants group. There is TFW reserved seats in college under which the students pay 7k amount of money as semester fee. Loan facility is available for any individual who is willing to take that

Campus Life

2

Laboratories are very old facilities are poor and sports events are conducted by students with a lack of good equipments and kits. Extra curricular activities are not so much favoured in the college and also there is no such facility to enhance extra curricular skills

Hostel Facilities

1.5

Infrastructure is better but not maintained and we have a scarcity of facilities there. Water shortage problem in hostels and hygiene is a major issue for hostellites. There is no internet facility in college and students work on mobile networks

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network of the college is not so much strong as alumni dont prefer coming back to the remote areas neither do the college administration puts efforts to build up the networks. We have contacts with a few of alumnis and they are quite helpful for us.

Admission

Through the JEE mains examination rank , state rank is calculated and on the basis of state rank the branches are allotted in accordance with the priorities. State quota of some amount is also applied for the students who have a hometown in college

Faculty

2

Faculty of college follows quite traditional model of teaching and only book content is focused. Technical knowledge is rarely shared and explored. Practical aspects of the concepts are not discussed. Also the way of teaching is not connective with the students

Placement Experience:

In GEU placements are like such that we don't have to bother at all. We are approached by placements cell in the 5th semester and then are trained for the whole month and then university urges us to go for internships to have the required exposure and have a CV which can impress the recruiters first hand. Thus, we get placement which median as of now is 8.5 lakhs.

Specific aspects of the circullum that influenced my decision to choose this course is the computer science department as I love knowing about the computer and the efforts of making daily life problems easy and best thing is that if know how to use the computer well you can earn well enough of money in this world the world only cares about that you have money or not if have they will give you respect if don't have it they treat you like shit.

Students become eligible for campus placements from 7th semester of Btech course. Companies like BigOH, GrowUp, L&T, Rubico, QI Technologies, Mahindra, BEL, etc. visit the campus for on-campus placements and the no. of placements in the year 2023-24 was 113. The placement details are given in the official website of the college. The highest package offered was 12 LPA by BEL and the lowest was 3 LPA. Most of the students go for GATE and don't sit for campus placements. I would go for GATE for higher studies.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements starts after completion of degree although students apply for internships from 3rd year, many companies like amazon, google, Microsoft, flipkart, TCS, wipro, and many core companies like dr. Reddy, relience visit our campus for placement. But it becomes really difficult to get placement in a core company because of competition almost 80-90% students of my branch got placed most of them in non core. Highest package go around 50 lpa and average go around 15-20 lpa. I am also planning to get placement after completing my degree
