Remarks

The exterior as well as the location of the college is scenic. It is a huge college and has lots and lots of courses like BBA,BCA,BE,Dental and also post graduation courses like ME,MCA. A really good college

Course Curriculum Overview

The Exam structure is proposed by Pune University in which it is not that easy to score percentage. The syllabus is vast and consist of lot of insem and endsem exams within each semester due to which it's is necessary to keep studying.

Placement Experience

A lot of companies have come for our final year batches over the years having a salary ranging from 3.5-9 lacs per annum. Also lot of Internship in Third Year are also provided which gives students lot of experience.

College Events

The biggest event celebrated in our college is called as Eternity. It consist of Lot of cultural events as well as Sports. Various Days like Traditional Day, Mismatch Day, Back to school days,etc are also celebrated.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Our average fees per year is 90000. Even though being a private college it is on the lower side as most of the private colleges have an annual fees beyond 1.5 lacs. Also a lot of scholarships are provided for students

Fees and Financial Aid

I know that EBC is a scholarship provided in which a students get refunded 50% of his fees if he/she has an annual income of less than 8 lacs per annum and a lot of students have availed this offer over the years.

Campus Life

Various sports like cricket, football, basketball, tennis, badminton,etc are played in our college. The laboratories of various departments are in really good condition and maintenance is done every month.

Alumni/Alumna

They are really helpful to their juniors. They have also founded coding clubs for the juniors in the computer department which helps them to build their base for a better future. Also they guide the juniors for various exams

Admission

By giving the the CET Maharashtra entrance Test and also on the basis of JEE Mains score which allowed me to be eligible for the CAP process held in Maharashtra. Students from all over Maharashtra were eligible.

Faculty

The faculty is really good our college. Morover they are ready to help us in the best way possible. They really take efforts for students and try to help the students in the best way possible regarding any topic.

placements start in 7th - 8th semester . Companies like wipro cisco and TCs etc visit. Average package is 4-5 LPA , and highest I could say 9 to 10 LPA .. my plans would be- if not got high paying job on campus I will try off campus too..

Placement Experience:

In my college students become eligible for campus placements from 7th semester and every year many companies come for hiring. Recently companies like TCS Accenture Cognizant Hitachi JSW Group Philips Axis Bank and some startups also visited so we get both IT and core chances. As per the latest data the highest package was around 24 LPA and the average stays around 6 to 6.5 LPA for most students and the lowest offers start from 3.5 LPA so it depends a lot on the role and company. Many students get placed but it mostly depends on skills performance and branch so it is not guaranteed for everyone. I feel the college gives decent chances but we also have to do our own preparation because competition is high. If I dont get placement from campus then I will try off campus also because there are many openings outside specially in IT. Overall placements are good for this level college and since companies keep coming for drives students who prepare properly usually get at least one offer.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. My experience of iiit pune

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements once they enter 3rd year of college. Some notable companies that visit the campus is nomura, walmart, amazon, nvidia and they take 5-6 candidates each while nomura takes 15-16 per year. The highest on campus is 43 lakhs while off campus is around 1.4cr. average package is 14-15 lpa mostly for swe roles. Percentage student getting placed is 50% oncampus and if we add off campus the number goes to 80%. I plan to work in the industry for 2-3 years and then try to go for masters.

After giving Gcet ( Goa common entrance test) I applied in 2 collages from which my admission was confirmed for bsc in st . Xavier's College in mapusa Goa. I was unable to get in engeneering collage in goa due to less score in Gcet . All in all the college is average in terms of academics. But in the terms of sports, campus life, hostel quality sanitation it fares very well. Academics in the entc department is very encouraging and helpfuland induatry centered. They even have an incubation cell and entrepreneurship cell for the industry intercation with the students but is limited only to entc and comp. The admin department is very poor. The admin department has no value for the students time and seems to accomplish tasks at its own convinience. So the admin department doea not have my vote.
