Course Curriculum Overview

Course is diversely studied with proper laboratory facilities. Enough space for students to do their own research and development. Good infrastructure and placements opportunities. Variety of academic books present in a state of the art library and roper workshops and computer centres are also present.

There are a lot of information technology companies which visit the campus for recreating the students among them are Tata Consultancy Services, Cognizant Technology Solutions, WIPRO, Accenture, etc. Core sector companies like Tata Power, Tata Electra, Ambuja Cements, etc visit our campus for recruitment as well.

We have social networking groups comprising of the yester year students. Their are re-union parties involving the ex-students which is really helpful in building the rapport among the current batches.

NIT Durgapur:-A wholesome Insight in the college life and it's different aspects

Placement Experience:

For campus placements student become eligible from the 7th semester onwards and for internships student get eligible from 5th semester onwards. Wide no of companies visited our campus around 180+ and made around 580+ offers to the students. The highest salary was 58LPA which was offered by DE Shaw and the highest accepted salary was 51LPA in Microsoft.The average package rolls roughly around 10-12 LPA.The profile offered include SDE roles, management roles,finance in some cases.The overall placement percentage was around 80% with Branches like electrical and metallurgy moving above 90% followed by CSE and ECE in the mid 80s while for biotech and civil the placement percentage are generally below 70.My plans after getting the degree is to land a job offer from on campus placements.Therefafter maybe look out for and MBA from top B schools of india.

Placements depends on your skills Usually there is a compulsory internship at the end of 3rd year If you didnt get it via college you should do it from outside but its compulsory And at the end of 4th year you get placement. I got this college by counselling as per my WBJEE rank. This was the best college I got according to my rank and was very good.
