Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is good and has lots of stuff to explore and with the lab facilities provided it makes the subjects even more interesting and fun to learn. The course gives us great knowledge about the industry too.
Internships Opportunities
No, the college doesn’t provide any internship in their own campus but have good contacts with other companies to give the students an internship opportunity in those companies and students get a lot to explore.
Placement Experience
The placement and job opportunities are really great and the companies visiting the college are also well reputed companies. The college has good contacts with companies while some of them being international based companies and offering students job opportunities outside India.
College Events
There are quite a few events happening in our college one of them being 8th mile and other being E-summit and also Kannada Rajyotsava Day. These are the highly talked events of our college at a major level. Other than these we have TED TALK and also mini fun loving events every month including social driven events.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It varies for the categories like COMEDK has a different fee structure and for the students coming through KCET has different fee structure while there is also Management Quota where students book their seats in a particular branch.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college provides scholarships to the lower caste students such as Sc/ St/ OBC categories. The scholarship provided is of reasonable amount helping the students to achieve their dream and not to break them just because of money.
Campus Life
Extracurricular activities are really great in the college and it has many clubs to join in to participate in them. It has technical clubs, acting clubs, dance etc. The lab facilities are also good with the college having their own hanger to their name and also a wind tunnel lab.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel in the campus is great. There is hostel facilities for both Boys and Girls. The hostel is good and the food provided is also good suiting both North and South Indians. The timing restriction is also good keeping the locality of the college in mind.
Alumni/Alumna
The seniors are really friendly and there is no such thing as ragging in the college and there happens an alumni meet every year. Anil Kumble is an alumni from our college. The alumni meet is really helpful for the students to interact with them.
Exam Structure
The exam structure is quite lengthy for a semester. In a semester there will be three internals which includes test and quiz. These will be taken into account and is followed by an external examination which is nothing but a final examination. The exam structure also involves some really great assignments and self study works.
Admission
I got in through an entrance exam. The procedure is quite simple and you need to score good marks in your exams to get a seat in the college. And then check the cutoff list for your particular branch.
Faculty
The faculty of the college is excellent. Many of them has a doctorate degree and are really humble and polite. They are ready to help whenever a student requires it and are always available. They have good set of knowledge.
