Remarks

This institution is really helpful for a huge number of people resident in an undeveloped village like Ranni and surroundings. Also the central government lead by Sri. Narendra Modi has given special consideration to this college and given special funds for the academic as well infrastructure development of the college. Hopefully it will gearup the standard of the institution soon.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

It was good but not an easy curriculum. The college was affiliated to Mahathma Gandhi University, Kottayam and the courses and it's syllabus were based on the university's common curriculum. Hence it was probably an easy curriculum.

Placement Experience

0.5

Since the institution was an art and science college which is located in a remote village, the possibilities to attract any companies for campus selections was really difficult. Hence most of the students done several professional courses once they completed their graduation from this institution.

College Events

2.5

The most beautiful event which was conducted in our college was Onam celebration. It was really a great memorable event which happened during the graduation time. All department and students volenteerly participated in that celebration and made it amazing.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure was based on the university guidelines. It was really a reasonable amount and due to that reason many of the young people from several places got an opportunity to extend their career in a perfect way. Also based on the financial background, the university refunded the remitted amount to the eligible students.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships and loan facilities were not available in this institution since the fees and other learning expenses were really less expensive compare to any professional colleges. But it deserves appreciation if any NGO or business houses could implement such a facility in this institution to promoting talented students.

Campus Life

2.5

This institution has given encouragement for every extra curriculum activities which are conducted by internal or external agencies. The support and recognition were really encouraged me as well other students who involved in such academic as well extra curricular activities.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni/old students association and it's activities are in a passive stage. Hopefully awaiting for a positive news regarding the galvanization of the team. Definitely it will be helpful for the new generation in several manner.

Admission

Based on the merit list prepared by the reference of higher secondary examination. Also there was a face to face interview for the selection procedures. National service scheme membership was also considered by the panel board to prepare the rank list.

Faculty

2

It was average since most of the teachers were not committed to their duties and responsibilities. Eventhough there were very hardworking as well dedicated faculties who consider their duties as important like anything.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is almost best. Curriculum doesn't influenced me in deciding this course. Curriculum should add internships. Currently there is no mandatory internship, if students are interested they can do internship during vacations. As we are learning psychology which need to be practiced in real world settings, curriculum must include real world training to help students understand things more effectively. Currently intervel between exams are non existent. Internal exams, then semester exams, you blink once, next internal exams, followed by semester exams. Syllabus is understandable, can learn if you try. Exams are also manageable. Real world examples and stories can be included in teaching methods, as psychology is related to humans and human interaction, to get better grasp of concepts. Rather than focusing on passing exam, should focus on the concepts and understand them in-depth. There are a lot of theories to study by heart. And there are many repetitive topics that overlap, but in different semesters.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel in love with mathematics in plus two time. The coursee are more application based when compared to other. Out college being an autonomous college has good grip to keep up to the level of good education. Overall teaching methods and syllabus are very good. Frequency of exams are troublesome during the last time of year because all the programmes like youth festival annual day etc come together

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course is Bsc Biotechnology. It is a research associated course. Its main scope is in research. But in every industry let it be medical or industrial a biotechnologist is required. I would like more practical knowledge than theory knowledge in this course as it is needed to be implemented in labs hands on experience is essential. Exams are conducted every 6 months as semester. Class tests and model exams are conducted frequently. Assignments, projects, seminar ,etc.. are given every month.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose Bsc electronics, it has an attractive curriculum and some of them are influenced me in some way. The facilities are well-known about the curriculum preparing and all. The current curriculum is good but it needs some changes. Include more practicals is one of my suggestion. Teaching methods are good it doesn't need any change. Exams are conducted by Kerala University, so the college can't do anything in main exams but the college will complete all the portions before the exam date it is sure.
