Course Curriculum Overview

Specific aspect's of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose this course. Poor curriculum prepare me for real world application or further academic pursuits The areas for improvement in the course curriculum and teaching methods. The frequency and timing of exams along with ny perspective on my difficult level.

Fees and Financial Aid

After plus 2 i decided to join zoology at st thomas college ranny. I am ST category student but in admission the authorities said that much of payment was i payed. And exam time they forced to pay full amount. Then second semester exam they said as only 80 rupees will i pay. I not get scholarship from st thomas college ranni. Only E Grant's i get but few amounts i get... At end of the semester they said as i pay tution fees and they said as the cash will come on the bank account. But no amount has come from the bank account.

Campus Life

College day celebrations arts day union day celebrations are only there. So many books ans journals are there in the library. All the time available to read the books. Smart classroom 2 seminar hall iedc special rooms are provide

Admission

St thomas college ranny is a good college as compared to others. The teacher's are so supportive and caring. Ncc has there. Fully disciplinary college is this. In my college IEDC is present also many clubs are there. Ncc Nss are there to bulid student's self respect

Faculty

My class four faculties are present. And my class has 14 students. Teachers are more supportive and care. Aruna miss i like the most faculty in the zoology department. Sany miss. She was always scolding for no reason the miss has not interest for me. First semester exam in my class majority of the students has passed. Few of them are failed during all the exams

Night Life

Gym are there. The college are conducted sports like football, cricket, and volleyball, etc. Our college hostel is strict and they provided quality food and allowance. Canteen give good qualify food. Cleaned canteen make good hygiene.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is almost best. Curriculum doesn't influenced me in deciding this course. Curriculum should add internships. Currently there is no mandatory internship, if students are interested they can do internship during vacations. As we are learning psychology which need to be practiced in real world settings, curriculum must include real world training to help students understand things more effectively. Currently intervel between exams are non existent. Internal exams, then semester exams, you blink once, next internal exams, followed by semester exams. Syllabus is understandable, can learn if you try. Exams are also manageable. Real world examples and stories can be included in teaching methods, as psychology is related to humans and human interaction, to get better grasp of concepts. Rather than focusing on passing exam, should focus on the concepts and understand them in-depth. There are a lot of theories to study by heart. And there are many repetitive topics that overlap, but in different semesters.

I feel in love with mathematics in plus two time. The coursee are more application based when compared to other. I chose this course to help others.social service was the main motive. I'm now persuing post graduation because i got best classes from best teachers. Real world applications are that i can be a good psychologist. The exams are gaped 6 months. Difficulty depends on the teachers who prepare the exam papers. But mainly it is syllabus based.
