Remarks

My college is having very good infrastructure and studies. A big library is provided to the students for gaining knowledge about academics and other stuff. A big canteen is also present in the college to buy everything you want.

Course Curriculum Overview

Yeah,it is far better than any other autonomous colleges.Every year it contains 2 semesters. Each semester contains 6 subjects and additionally labs also integrated in the curriculum. Basically, all the subjects are taught according to the course.

Placement Experience

Yes, my college provides placements. I have not yet selected for any company till now in the campus. I have been looking towards a opportunity. And this week many companies are visiting and recruiting.

College Events

Pulse, pragyna are two major events that are celebrated. Those events attract many students to involve in many cultural activities and enjoy the event. So many cultural activities will take place in the event.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Somewhat we might expect as expensive. It will be around one lakh rupees for any course in the college. I suggest it is feasible to put that amount to study in this college. Becuase everything you pay used for u.

Fees and Financial Aid

I don't about this, but I heard some oriental Bank of commerce is. Providing the loan for the poor people. And there will be a scholarship available for the candidates through the government. It will be good to have a scholarship.

Campus Life

Everything is good. Extra circular activities are conducted in the college every month. Sports are major part of it.Many indoor games are available int the college. There is a big ground, there we can play cricket and other games.

Hostel Facilities

I have not opted for any hostel, because my home is near to the college. I will go by taking a bus or a cab. It's very enjoyable while having a journey from home to the college. I still enjoy the journey.

External Expense: Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Admission

I have wrote an ecet entrance exam and alloted in the college. I have prepared for the exam from 6 months before to the exam. And then I have attended the exam and got 2000 integrated rank. According to my rank, I have been alloted to this college.

Faculty

They are quite good. Everyone in the college is so expressive and experienced. And I have learnt so many things from them, I mean the way they teach, implement, cover all the topics accordingly to the course.

The curriculum is not the best i would say There are many flaws in it Although the say the syllabus keeps changing but the changes are not that much The teaching method is also old school methods U can expect an exam every 1.5 months The difficulty is also high

Thinking Beyond Academics and Placements , life at BITS Pilani Hyderabad Campus.

Placement Experience:

Placement here are going on pretty well considering the recession that hit the market in recent years,student become eligible for placements from the first sem of their final year , typically 7th semester for single degree students (BE) and 9th semester for dual degree students (Msc+BE),as per the recent cycle around 310+ companies including Google, MIcrosoft,Goldman sachs etc. had visited campus with offer majorly ranging from 18 to 27 lpa , the highest package last cycle (domestic) was for 65lpa and average aroun 21 lpa. The perecentage of students getting placed is above 80% and remaining usually go on for pursuing masters or already have a PPO from the Practice School Internship.I personally will be sitting for placements in my last year and will be hoping to land a good offer.

Placement Experience:

Internships starts from spring break of 4th sem and placements start from spring break of 6th sem ( if you don't get a PPO ) Many big companies like Microsoft , Oracle , DeShaw and Qualcom visit the college. More than 80% of student that are eligible for placements get placed while the others get off campus placements or opt for higher studies. My plans after getting th degree depends on the CTC of package I get offered. If it is not upto my expectation I will pursue higher education abroad.
