Remarks

The positive things about the college is the atmosphere and the location ,it's some place you can have a peaceful college life thats close to the nature too The negative is because of the difficulties that arise due to the remoteness of the location.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

From 2015 onwards every engineering colleges in kerala switched to a single university known as KTU ( Kerala Technological University). The course curriculum and exam structures are updated and more revolutionary than the previous scheme but as it is in an initial phase much updations and corrections are needed.

Placement Experience

1.5

No, we have to find and enroll for internships ourselves.because of the fact that it is a government instituition and situated in a remote location, the number of opportunity we get are less. To attend or enroll to internships students will have to travel to other places.

College Events

4

There are many events both cultural , technical and sport events for the students . Annual Technical fest Annual cultural and arts fest Annual sports meet And several other micro events . All these are conducted by the college union elected by the students each year. And there are several cultural and science club to conduct other events also.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is very feasible.becuse it is a government instituition they only charge around 10 k per year where other private engineering colleges cost you near to 1 lakh. Comparing to other instituition the fee structure is 1/10 of others cost .

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship are available for children that are financially weak . And other different scholarships too. These are provided by the govt of kerala and central govt also. Student will be notified. By the authority when the procedure starts.

Campus Life

2.5

There are annual sports meet, departmentalvise competitions on football, badminton, table tennis etc. And there are creative competitions on film making , art , music etc. There are different clubs in order to boost the skills of student to the maximum.

Hostel Facilities

4

There is hostel facility present for both male and female students, the ladies hostel is situated in the college campus itself and the boys hostel is situated half a kilometer away from the college location.

Alumni/Alumna

Basically the alumni network is not at all working. Most of the people that pass out are turning their back on the college after a few years ,maybe it's because of the location and the difficulty tk reach the campus but it's been like that for all this time.

Admission

First you have to attend the Entrance exam conducted by the kerala govt. The exam will based on Physics ,chemistry and mathematics of higher secondary syllabus of kerala education board. After the exam the rank list of qualified students will be published and the admission procedure will be based on the rank list. Students can opt the college and the course they want to join in the website and the seats will be allocated according to their ranks acquired in the entrance examination.

Faculty

3

The faculty are pretty good and have knowledge in their field of teaching. Each department have their Head of department and a number of assistant professors under them. And there are other staffs for the maintenance of lab , departmental library etc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is the worst. Teachers rush through the portions so that they can finish at the earliest. It may be because the university has a unjustifiable timetable. There is very little practicals given. The ones that are given are just for namesake.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is under KTU syllubus do it's fine. There is a change in curriculum coming 2024 which i assume would make a lot of good changes. The curriculum gives you a head start For most of your work, you need to on your own but the faculty is there to help. The frequency of exams is weekly tests + monthly exams. Its not too difficult of an exam.

Placement Experience:

The students usually start appearing for campus placements in their 6th semester. The training for the campus placements is started for all the students from the 4th semester. Many companies visited for campus placements. But one main problem is that most of them were low packages. Around 4LPA. Some were between 4-6 and a very few between 6-10. Most of them got placed in our batch in some company.
