Remarks :

college is far from town .about 7 km to nearest national highway.youbwill find a hard way reaching college for the first time .summers are average hot and winters are very cold.ezhattumugam and athrirapally waterfalls are about within 29 km from our college.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course curriculum have a drastic change in the last two years, for the first year students there are marks for your attendance too. If you are passionate about BTech and you have a hard working mind you can opt for this course.There is a tendency among people for not applying for engineering as the current scenario of jobs are in crisis

Placement Experience :

Placements are low in this college ,those who have a good coding knowledge won't find it hard to get any job as most companies who come here for placements are it companies .college don't provide any type of internships or stipend.There are other workshop programs condected by our college once in an year.

College Events :

Onam, Christmas, ,holi ,valentine's day celebrations are some of the events celebrated by our college,.ther will be a tech fest every year and special program called genius done by our mechanical department once every two year. the programs are condected by students itself and have a good time coordinating and working in groups .

Fee Structure And Facilities :

.You can also apply for management quota or NRI quota if your rank is not that good .merit list students have to pay a sum of 85000 ; management quota students owes 1.2 lakhs and for NRI students fees is 1.5 lakhs.if you ace not that economically sound you can contact management for a feed reduction or to pay fees in instalments

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Moma scholarship is for the economically unsound category people,where you get a scholarship upto 25000,there are other type of scholarships which are based on your Keam and twelfth marks.Union bank provides loan facility for the students in the college.If you are too good at studying and have a sound CGPA ,you don't have to worry, placements are there.

Campus Life :

Extracurricular activitiesare not so much entertained by our college ,even though kabbadi badminton basketball courts are there you have to find a way to reach the senior students to get into the team.

Alumni/Alumna :

Most students got placed in prestigious instituitions from our college.You won't find it hard to reach them .there is a aluminus network among Kerala and a newly opened aluminus chapter in uae.most students ge places in Infosys.

Admission :

You have to write Keam entrance examination.if you get a good Keam rank you can apply for our college.You can also apply for management quota or NRI quota if your rank is not that good .merit list students have to pay a sum of 85000 ; management quota students owes 1.2 lakhs and for NRI students fees is 1.5 lakhs.

Faculty :

Faculties are good ,.As compared to other gec nist and IITs ,facilities are having a hard time making students to study.faculties are hardworking. Mechanical department faculties are average and you have to find a way to solve problems by yourself.

Actually placement cell is a bit week the company's is not that reputed and they offer monthly salary of 12k to 15k. Probably some startup companies. And many students choose that and work for 1 or 2 years to gain experience and then they apply for better opportunities.

SEEING STCET THROUGH MY VISION

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd year onwards we could attend placement interviews and many companies used to approach our college but mostly IT companies as I was in civil dept the construction companies were very less or NIL. In our batch, most of the students got placed and many offer letters but the only disadvantage was the offers were not from the core companies.
