There is a placement cell in the college and the cell looks after the placement drives and coaching in the college. Students are taken for placement drives on a regular basis to different companies. Internships are not provided by the college.

College Events

4

The events celebrated in college include the Technical Festival, Arts festival, the Annual Sports meet and the College Union inauguration. The events are of great quality and the highlight among all these events is the Technical festival known as Advaya.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is affordable by students from all classes of society. Since it is a government college the fees remitted by the college is very less as compared to private self financing colleges.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is loan scheme for the engineering students to carry out their education. The loan facility is not directly availed by the college but it is the college which decides the expenditure for the student.

The extracurricular activities include Volleyball, Basketball and Badminton in the college campus. The student's can play any of these games and there are college teams for the respective sport. Also there is the National Service Scheme for students who wants to get involved in service field.

I currently stay in the college hostel. There are 80 students in the hostel including students from 2nd, 3rd, and 4th year. The hostel has 10 rooms with nearly 10 students in each room. The rooms are big enough to accommodate 15 people in it. The electric system in the hostel is functioning well and water is available for 24 hours. The overall hostel facility is satisfying.

Alumni/Alumna

There is well functioning Alumni body for the college. The Alumni network is spread over the world and they conducts meet ups in different countries. The Alumni gather in the college during Technical Fest and get involved in their own way

Admission

To get admission in the college one has to appear for the Kerala Engineering and Medical Entrance examination. And then apply for the admission in the college via online. Based on the entrance score and 12th Mark the student will get a tank. The rank will determine the student's admission to the college. The admission is also based on the caste of the student.

4

The are five departments in the college and each department has an HoD, Professors, Associate professors and Lab staff. The faculty is of great experience and quality. The faculty focuses mainly on improving the overall technical skills in the field.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is the worst. Teachers rush through the portions so that they can finish at the earliest. It may be because the university has a unjustifiable timetable. There is very little practicals given. The ones that are given are just for namesake.

The students usually start appearing for campus placements in their 6th semester. The training for the campus placements is started for all the students from the 4th semester. Many companies visited for campus placements. But one main problem is that most of them were low packages. Around 4LPA. Some were between 4-6 and a very few between 6-10. Most of them got placed in our batch in some company.
