Remarks

Jyothi engineering college has a very healthy environment consisting of an eco friendly campus and state of the art technology labs and computing facilities. Most of the concentration is given to academics and only minor concentration is given to other co curricular activities.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is not very easy but not very hard either. Time to complete all the modules is very less compared to the number of modules to study and university exams are held every 6 months consisting of 2 lab exams.

Placement Experience

Different major companies comes for recruitment process in the college and majority of the students are placed by the end of the 4 years , internships are provided by the college but no stipend is provided for the same.

College Events

College day, union day, sports day, arts day are the various college programs celebrated in the college, apart from these functions, the other celebrations celebrated are THARANG arts and tech fest which improves the creative, technical and social aspect of the students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is around 45,000 inr per semester and according to the marks obtained by the student in the entrance exam, the fees is changed accordingly. For SC/ST students and other students with financial problems can avail for fee reduction and scholarships.

Fees and Financial Aid

Around 10000 rs is deducted for every 10,000 rank less than 20,000 rank in the KEAM entrance examination. For Christian students, different scholarships are provided by the management , apart from these scholarships, sc st students also recieve various scholarships.

Campus Life

Extracurricular activities include dance, musics, with various instruments but no official training is provided for the students, There are all sorts of labs for every course, with a very food lab for each course and a central library. A full length football cum cricket ground , basketball court and a volleyball court is also present in the campus.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumini of the college is in a healthy relationship with the other students of the college who gives feedback to the college and provides help with the different information regarding the placement ad different companies.

Admission

After completeing keam exam and getting the allotment details, Jyothi engineering college was shown in the allotment list. After completion of the selection process another list was created by the college officials based on the marks obtained by the students and the courses were alloted as per the marks obtained.

Faculty of the college is very experienced and friendly with state of the the art labs and lab assistants, All the faculty are very helpful and trains the students to reach great heights in their personal careers.

Life at CET

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of the college is very active. You can get internships starting 2nd year and placements starting 3rd year. About 75% of people get placed. Many MNCs like Texas Instruments are consistent hirers. The highest package of 2025 for my course is 1 crpa. The average is about 7 lpa. A student can get 5,6 offers. I plan on higher studies abroad because I want to learn more in-depth about the course.

Students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester and internship from 3rd semester. You can apply for internship on your own right from first semester but college gives aid from 3rd semester. Course Curriculum Overview:

I was never interested in engineering. I passed KEAM entrance exam. So my parents forced me to become an engineer. Since I was interested, I thought food technology might be a good branch in engineering. So I got admission in KUFOS through allotment. The course is actually good . In the 1st year, you study basic engineering, 2nd year onwards food related courses are taught. If you are a student who only have the intention to study you will find this college easy to adjust. They provide all facilities to study. There is no particular frequency for a semester. Even though academic calender is there for each batch it is not followed properly. In this college the course may last upto 4.5 years. Due to this reason the students ask the management to cut shot semester breaks so that they won't loose 1 year.

Good Campus and enjoyed the time in there.

We had a common exam for the admissions. And the rank in the exam determines which college we get to study. I was trying to get into the government college. But didn't had enough rank to get the set. Actually when I was writing my boards I paid 10000 and they asked me to block myself a seat. They kept two conditions two score above 85 percentage in 12th and keam should be qualified.i happened to get both so after that I went back to college they gave me a check list of documents to bring for registration. I bought those they registered me in.
