The college is overall above average. The environment is really good. The accommodation and food can be improved. Academics is in par with NITs. The extracurricular activites and social life is awesome.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is good.It is more focused in developing a student's coding skill. It is revised this year to suit the needs of present generation. They have introduced courses like python which is necessary for current students.
Placement Experience
The placement opportunities are really good. The placement committee always try their best to bring as many companies as they can to recruit students from the college. Even though the student strength is not much compared to other colleges, they bring a lot of recruiters to the college
College Events
A lot of events are celebrated in the college. There is the fresher's night which is called Nebuale. There is also the annual techno-cultural fest named Advaita. It's one of the biggest fest of odisha. Similarly there is also a sport fest, literature fest and film fest. Besides these festivals like diwali and holi are also celebrated in the college
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is moderate. It is around 1.5 lakh year at the beginning to 2 lakh per year during 4th year. It seems a little expensive, but it's actually less than what other colleges like ITER and KIIT charge
Fees and Financial Aid
The college provides to the students who secured the first, second and third position in their respective branch. Loan facility is provided by the college in a tie up with Andhara bank. Besides there are also scholarships from state and central government
Campus Life
The college is really active in terms of extracurricular activites. There are a lot student societies in the college which are really active. They conduct regular events throughout the calendar year.
Alumni/Alumna
The seniors are really helpful.They really help the students in every way possible. They are really interactive.They try to help their juniors as much as possible. They help them in extracurricular activites as well as in academics
Admission
Through JEE main marks. Odisha state category students can apply directly to the college while other students are admitted through JOSAA. 50% seats are reserved for odisha category students, while the rest is for other state students.
Faculty
Most of the facaulties have done their post graduate from highly reputed colleges of India. Some of them are from IIT. Some of them from NIT. Some are also from IISc Bangalore. They are really good and highly professional.
