Remarks

Have a strict mentality to the students by the management.Highly formal to the students. Events were conducted nicely by the college.ATTITUDE by the management should have to be changed .Reduction in strict have to be done.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum consist of tough syllabus of btech degree. It follows syllabus frm Kerala technological University. Exam structure consists of 2 internal and one university exam per semester of 6 month.

Placement Experience

College doesn't provide internship. They allow us to take internship frm outside campus. For computer science department there is a vast range of placement section. For mechanical it is very low as compared.

College Events

College union day ,college day, sportsday, artsday, mechanical union inauguration, onam celebration, farewell, tech fest for 2 days -1 for technical events most probably inside campus 1 day for art events.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible sem fee for all the students is about 40000 +.3 categories aare there management, government, nri. For nri students there is a donation. For gov students there are lot of scholarship schemes.

E grants for oec sc st students, scholarship based on ranks, scholarship based on 12 th mark, scholarship for Christian community, scholarship for students having low income, obc scholarship, ktu scholarship

Campus Life

Sports like kabbadi cricket football basketball hockey were encouraged. Badminton table tennis and other indor events were also encouraged. There is a trainer for students. Proper funding were done by college. Labs are there for each branch.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes they are people having helping mentality. They provide proper motivation for us and career guidence also. They help us to study and they provide study material for us. Alumini network helps the students to increase their skills

Admission

I got Kerala entrance exam rank 21000.Then i applied for admission in all engineering colleges. I got a government seat at my college. It is a self finansing college.here my admission is based on the keam rank and i have a scholarship too

Faculty

Most of them are perfect. Some faculity are indifferent. They should not bother about the way they behave to the student and they were not take revenge against us. Some times they are lovable like parents . Most of them are fine actually.

Life at CET

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of the college is very active. You can get internships starting 2nd year and placements starting 3rd year. About 75% of people get placed. Many MNCs like Texas Instruments are consistent hirers. The highest package of 2025 for my course is 1 crpa. The average is about 7 lpa. A student can get 5,6 offers. I plan on higher studies abroad because I want to learn more in-depth about the course.

Students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester and internship from 3rd semester. You can apply for internship on your own right from first semester but college gives aid from 3rd semester. The major recruiter is ISRO which offers 40-45 jobs for aerospace engineering. Also other companies like CDac Airbus Boeing and DRDO and HAL visit for recruitment. Nearly 85-90% students get placed while some opt for Higher education and research too. My primary goal is to get into ISRO also I will be preparing for gate examination to complete my IIT dream.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was never interested in engineering. I passed KEAM entrance exam. So my parents forced me to become an engineer. Since I was interested, I thought food technology might be a good branch in engineering. So I got admission in KUFOS through allotment. The course is actually good . In the 1st year, you study basic engineering, 2nd year onwards food related courses are taught. If you are a student who only have the intention to study you will find this college easy to adjust. They provide all facilities to study. There is no particular frequency for a semester. Even though academic calender is there for each batch it is not followed properly. In this college the course may last upto 4.5 years. Due to this reason the students ask the management to cut shot semester breaks so that they won't loose 1 year.

Good Campus and enjoyed the time in there.

We had a common exam for the admissions. And the rank in the exam determines which college we get to study. I was trying to get into the government college. But didn't had enough rank to get the set. Actually when I was writing my boards I paid 10000 and they asked me to block myself a seat. They kept two conditions two score above 85 percentage in 12th and keam should be qualified.i happened to get both so after that I went back to college they gave me a check list of documents to bring for registration. I bought those they registered me in.
