Remarks
Positive is that the faculty is good and lenient regarding the attendance system. Negative is that not all branches are autonomous and come under the university so marks are not scored easily. But overall it's a good college.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is majorly theoretical and is very hectic. Exam has five modules with two parts I'm each module and one has to attempt either one of the parts from each module. This means one cannot skip any of the modules which makes it difficult to pass just by studying a night before.
Placement Experience
Placement starts from the beginning of the first year. Placement training begins at the commencement of the 2nd year. Company's recruit students on the basis of their GPA and Aptitude tests and then finally interview. Stipend varies from 2.5lac per annum to 16 Lac per annum
College Events
First there are branch fest which has various number of events then there is college fest which is even bigger and has more events than the branch fest Every branch organises events reflecting their course.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee is a little expensive but there are rarely any additional costs throughout the year so it's kind of feasible also. Hostel fees is feasible since the food offered in the mess is really nice, especially the breakfast.
Fees and Financial Aid
Loan is provided for the underprivileged children or for those who are not able to afford the college fee. Scholarship is not mainly offered by the college itself but is provided by the university which it is functioning under.
Campus Life
There are a number of extracurricular activities like table tennis, basketball, football, handball, badminton. All kind of labs are there, physics lab, chemistry lab, computer lab, electronic lab, mechanical workshop, etc.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumi network is good. They keep calling past students who are now entrepreneurs and tell them to guide us also. Senior on the other hand are helpful, whether it be studies or anything else. they are always ready to help.
Admission
One could get admitted using their JEE mains marks or through COMEDK. I entered the college on the basis of COMEDK marks. There is entrance through management quota also. But the fees in that will be a little expensive.
Faculty
Faculty is nice and have thorough knowledge about their forte. Faculty is available all the time through the college hours and is keen to help. Some of the faculty members are strict. They are somewhat biased also when it comes to kannadigas and non-kannadigas.
