Remarks

The college will provide freedom beyond a keralites limits tiil the age. Nothing negative since this is the literal heaven. The nightlife in college is one experience a person enjoying those little things won't miss.

Course Curriculum Overview

College is affiliated to APJ Abdul Kalam Technical university and KTU. Exams are conducted in every semester by the university. First semester for all courses are basics and similar . Necessity of 100 activity points and 75%attendance .

Placement Experience

Placement and job opportunities are vast compared to some other government colleges and some private colleges. The highest package offered was 40 Lpa if the information is right. Core placement is of average (only few get in) but IT company's bag a lot.

College Events

Tech fest, cultural fest, workshops, Union sports games and athletics, union culturals, elections etc. Among them , south India's biggest motor exhibition, Thrissur motor show is organized by the mechanical department of the college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible. Since it is a government college, the fees required is very low and the quality provided is top notch. Students from all walks of life come to the college . But for an average economically balanced student, fee is definitely feasible.

Fees and Financial Aid

SIB scholarship gives financial aid to students in economically backward conditions who scored great ranks in the entrance examination. It gives a specific amount of money for students needs monthly tiil they graduate.

Campus Life

All are well in equipments and functioning.A well developed physical education department with gym, well equipped physics lab and chemistry lab, numerous workshops for chemical, mechanical and electrical departments.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network spread across different branches works well in the college. They brought about different changes in college like auditorium, placement cells, seminar halls etc. Special note to Chemical Alumni association for their splendid support towards placements and infrastructure.

Admission

You need to qualify and get a good rank in KEAM entrance exam. Once you got the ranklist, after a few days, the allotment process will start. Apply for a course in GECT. If you get allotment, come join the college within a specific date.

Faculty

Since it is a government college, the faculty is well qualified and mostly friendly towards students. Teachers do not interfere with the personal life of the students. But cares for them and will be always an ear to talk to.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is the worst. Teachers rush through the portions so that they can finish at the earliest. It may be because the university has a unjustifiable timetable. There is very little practicals given. The ones that are given are just for namesake.

students become eligible for placements after sixth semester. Major companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, e.t.c are recruiters. about 5-10 students are recuited on average by these companies. highest package was offered by south indian bank in 2023 (10 LPA). average packges are around 2 to 3 LPA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is under KTU syllubus do it's fine. There is a change in curriculum coming 2024 which i assume would make a lot of good changes. The curriculum gives you a head start For most of your work, you need to on your own but the faculty is there to help. The frequency of exams is weekly tests + monthly exams. Its not too difficult of an exam.

Currently placements are bit low, due to inflation, but compared to other colleges like KMEA, etc we have better placements similar to Muthoot and all. The students usually start appearing for campus placements in their 6th semester. The training for the campus placements is started for all the students from the 4th semester. Many companies visited for campus placements. But one main problem is that most of them were low packages. Around 4LPA. Some were between 4-6 and a very few between 6-10. Most of them got placed in our batch in some company.
