Remarks

The college is one of the very few NAAC and NBA accredited Engineering colleges in Kerala. This puts the college a step above other self financing colleges and is the assurance for the good quality education it provides.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is wholesome and it gives importance to all areas of development. Apart from theoretical knowledge the curriculum also focuses on the practical aspects of the learnt theory. The curriculum is overall at par with the current standards of education.

Placement Experience

The college does provide internships for different branches of Engineering. Mostly this internships are one or two months long and are unpaid. Also the college has excellent placement assistance with all major leading IT companies coming for recruitment. Also global leaders like Amazon have recruitment drives in the college.

There are numerous events that are celebrated in the college year round. This includes techfest Onam celebrations women's Day celebrations environmental Day celebrations and different seminar symposiums and conferences. Also the college his host to different sports events.

Fee structure is very much affordable and feasible and the college dress provide suitable financial assistance in the form of scholarships and fees waiver to deserving students both on the basis of means and merit.

The college offers a government approved merit come means scholarship for students coming from less fortunate background and who are good at academic or other extra curricular activities like sports or arts.

The college has excellent facilities for extra curricular activities but good quality labs with all the latest technological advancements and good sports facilities including basketball court athletics court and cricket court.

Alumni/Alumna

They are very helpful. Alumni network is very active and always is eager to help the current students and the college in its development. Meetings are held regularly to discuss the college developmental policies.

Admission

I got admission to the college through entrance examination. An all Kerala level entrance examination is held and after the rank list is published we could give 3 preferred college names. Then the allotment process takes place.

The college has great faculties who are committed to imparting imparting knowledge in the best way possible and also help in the overall development of the student. The college faculties are all very approachable and friendly. They support the students in everyway possible and encourage them to achieve the best and aim higher.

College Feels Like Home

Placement Experience:

The placement department in our college is great and is always trying to bring good companies to the college. The placement training starts from semester 7. Our top recruiter include Infosys, TCS, Wipro, NocoBD, Delloite, etc. and our mechanical, civil, EEE,ECE all got placements with avg of 4lpa.The highest package where 12 Lpa for SAP. My plans is to get a good job and lead a stable life.

Students in 7th and 8th semester are eligible to sit for campus placements. Companies like Oracle, Goldman Sachs, L&T, Bajaj, Caterpillar and PSU's like BEL,HPCL and BPCL come to the college usually the coding companies offer aroung 35-40 LPA CTC and the core PSU companies offer around 17-18 LPA. Highest Package is 51 LPA and an Average Package of 12 LPA. Nearly 85% students from Circuit and CS branch get placed and around 60% in core branches who sit for placements, My plans after getting the degree is to join MBA to learn how business world works and how the money flows

My honest review of ICET

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for attending campus placement from semester 7. Some companies that visits ICET are Utc global, Layland, DeltaX, etc. The average package given by the companies are 3 lpa. The percentage of students getting placed are around 40%. I plan to placed at any company.

As my college doesn't promote any festivals or celebrations its top most priority is to provide quality education to their students. Good Campus and enjoyed the time in there.

We had a common exam for the admissions. And the rank in the exam determines which college we get to study. I was trying to get into the government college. But didn't had enough rank to get the set. Actually when I was writing my boards I paid 10000 and they asked me to block myself a seat. They kept two conditions two score above 85 percentage in 12th and keam should be qualified.i happened to get both so after that I went back to college they gave me a check list of documents to bring for registration. I bought those they registered me in.
