The positive remark about my college is that it has ragging free environment with good junior senior interaction and has many good clubs which tech us technical skills which are required in the future.

The course curriculum is pretty good, as I belong to the IT branch the course structure is on spot and makes one ready for the industry after graduation as it focuses on all round development. Talking about the exam structure,exams are held semester wise and each semester also has mid semester exams of 20 marks besides this practical exams are held each semester and at the end of each semester the end semester exams are conducted. One must have 75 percent attendance or above to sit in the exam.

Job opportunities is decent here many tech companies come here for placement every year and almost everyone here gets placed in one or the other companies the highest package provided last year was 7.95 lakhs per annum by deloitte and about the internship no it does not provide internship.

There are many events organised in our college but most grand event in the entire year is vassaunt which is the college's annual fest. Besides vassaunt we also organise various technical fest and competitions last year we had Ted event at vssut and we are conducting it this year too

The fee structure is feasible for the core branches like mechanical, chemical and electronics but branch like computer science and information technology have higher fees as compared to the core branches.

There's no scholarship program but there is a scholarship program provided by the government of Odisha called prerna there is loan facility provide by them through SBI and no I have not opted for loan or scholarship.

For extracurricular we have independent clubs here which teach us technical stuff which we generally don't get in classroom teaching there are three types of clubs here technical, cultural and sports club and each of them are very good these clubs are operated by the students body. Technical clubs include enigma ( programming club), robotics society and idea and innovation cell, for your information India's first student based indigenous multipurpose satellite VSLV was built by the members of this club. Cultural club include drama club, literary club, dance and singing club soul and vibrance. We also have sports club here which include cricket, football, badminton and basketball. Each club is unique in its own way and students spend their time here and learn something thing new every day.

Yes I have opted for hostel and the hostel infrastructure is decent and not so special the mess food is also decent but sometimes they make awful food. The hostels has good supply of water and is equipped with high speed fiber internet connection from Jio and has lan environment in each room. The electricity is not constant, current goes out randomly and mostly during rainy weather.

The alumni network is very good recently the Kolkata chapter of alumni of vssut took place in Kolkata. The senior students are also helpful here the junior senior interaction is very good and free of ragging.

To get admission in this college one needs to crack jee mains entrance examination.The admission process is done through ojee website as it is a college of Odisha government. First we have to register using ojee website and choose our desired colleges,seat allotment is purely based on merit this selection has three rounds which spans over a month and seat alloted is also subjected to upgradation and after the end of the selection process we need to go for document verification at a nodal centre as suggested by the ojee council here they will check whether one provides legit documents and verify them thoroughly. After this one will be alloted a specific date branch wise where we have report at the institute where the final phase of the admission process will take place but before that we have to make sure we have registered through the college website and pay the academic fees for the first two semesters at once. During the final phase of the admission process at the institution we again had to verify the documents and after that the admission into the college was completed.

The faculty is also good with experienced professors from renowned colleges. The faculties are very helpful and they are ready to solve doubts any time. Some faculties are very strict and they will not go easy on anyone.
