Positive: Satisfactory Internship and good Placement statistics, seniours are helpful. things that people do here is enough to place you in a good product-based company from the perspective of CSE. Negative - Faculties are not good, the syllabus is old, lack of industry-focused training, weak alumni network, not enough exposures to the industry.

I am pursuing B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering. Yes, we are reading many important subjects like DBMS, Data Structure, Core JAVA but along that we are also reading some other outdated and irrelevant subjects like financial management and we do not have a requirement for that subjects. our syllabus in 8 years old of 2012. They are not updating it.

Placements and Job opportunities at expectation level. I am in 3rd Year 16 people from CSE out of 98 got internship for summer in good companies so far and almost all of student of 4th year got one placement offer in product based and service based company.

TECHNICITY - This event of the mix of more cultural concerts, plays, dramas, and less technical events sounds funny but it is what it is. HACKATHON - this is a typical type of hackathon. one project idea and shortlisting and doing work on that all night and then winner selection this year's prize money for winner was around 15K. one or two ideas from our colleges were good but most of them were off the rush. So no team from our college team won and a team from south college won that.

College Charges 65K for acadmics for general catagory. General catagory having family income below 5LPA they have to pay 1/3 of total of academics fee. SC/ ST people have to 10K for acadmics. all people pays around 4K for hostel selecetion and 25K for mess fodd.

This is government-funded college so every gov scholarship according to a different state is valid here but I am from general category and my family income is above 5LPA so none of scholarship and loan is availed for me.

There are so many extracurricular activities like all types of Athletics fests twice every year, Music Concerts, Business Quizzes. They provide a good amount of prizes. but unfortunately, exposures through these quizzes are not at a good level so not very good extracurricular activities but they are good than nothing.

Senior in NIT JALANDHAR is super helpful. Frankly speaking, they do everything because teachers' faculties have zero credits in any important things related to career. there is no communication gap between seniors and juniors. They often make happen workshop and technical events.

I gave Joint Entrance Examination in 2016. I prepared for JEE Main exam in Kota rajasthan. I got 8811 Rank in JEE MAIN Exam after that there was a JOSSAA seat allotment round. I am from general category. I was able to get CSE branch in NIT Jalandhar.

Very Poor : Teaching Style of faculty is very bad. Either they don't know how to explain things so that anyone could understand or they want to do so. some of faculty do not know what to teach in next class. they just come in class open book and start throwing words from text books.
