The best college in the hills

Although allare the positive aspects about the college. But we know every system has some loop holes. So it has also some negative aspects like government hostel facility and its location. otherwise the college is best.

There are 5 disciplines of Engineering. 1. Mechanical Engineering 2. Electrical Engineering 3. Civil Engineering 4. Electronics & Communication Engineering 5. Computer Science Engineering Semester system is used as course curriculum. Normally exams are held in December and June of Odd and Even Semesters respectively.

Yes the college provides internship. The internship is done on the college cost. They also provide facilities for the students to show their talents in the IITs or NITs. As it is a government institution the placement is mainly from university campus but few comapnies visit the college for placement drive.

Congnito- It is the name of annual fest. In cognito there are different types of events are organized such as Cultural, Technical and sports. Other than these events a lot of national and international conferences are also organized by the institution.

Fee structure is also flexible. It is around 28k per semester and in my views it is very less than the other private colleges. Student education loan policy is also available. Students can opt any of the above methods. TFW seats are also available for the economically weaker students.

Scholarship from Samaj Kalyan Vibhag is also available for the studentss of Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Class. At present the college does not provide any scholarship from its own as it is a government institution.

The laboratories are well maintained and are in a vreat numbers. Other than that indoor and sports facilities ate also available for the all dimensional development of the students. There are a lot of extracurricular activities organized by the college.

The college has an on demand hostel facility. Since the government hostel is not ready yet. Students can opt for the on demand hostel facility. Rooms on rent are also available in nearby places at affordable rates.

Both the alumini and senior students are helpful towards new students. Since there is no ragging so it is a peaceful and well disciplined campus. It is free from ragging and other anti disciplinary activities.

I got admission through Uttarakhand Technical University Counselling which is based on JEE- Main marks. And there is also an option of Spot Counselling and Extra Spot counselling which is done for filling the remaining seats.

The faculty is well educated and highly experienced on their relevant fields. They are friendly with students. The faculty memebers are young and energetic. All faculties are M.Tech and so.e are even PhD.
