Remarks

I personally feel that NM is the best commerce college one might ever get into. People nowadays give utmost importance towards attendance and prefer attendance friendly college. Students must come out of this mindset as attending college and lectures, meeting new people everyday, making friends all will help you towards betterment of your future in some or the other way.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course curriculum were perfectly designed for the students with a mandatory attendance of 75% which proved to be a blessing in disguise as it helped me to face challenges and made me strong enough to tackle them. Exams structure can be divided into 4 parts particularly. 2 being the internal exams which carries 30 marks and remaining 2 being the semester exams carrying 70 marks.

Placement Experience

4

Top companies from Mumbai come to NM for placement. Student who is doing CA along with the Bcom course may find many options and opportunities to commence their articleship as NM have a separate placement cell which look upon it.

College Events

4.5

There are around 10-12 forums in the college which host interesting events once in a week. Umang festival is quite renouned fest in the city with thousands of participants showing up at the event which lasts for 3-4 days. Students here wait for almost an year to be a part of such event.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure at NM is quite affordable ranging from 3-4k a year. Whereas for junior it is even more feasible with fees being 300-400 a year. Also no internal fees is charged post admission throughout the year.

Fees and Financial Aid

NM does help deserved students with various scholarship programme held by it. Though I'm not aware of much of scholarship programme nor have I availed any of scholarship programme but NM does help students with weak financial background.

Campus Life

4

NM hosts a range of extra curricular activities with events being held every week also for which attendance is provided. The Library of NM college is worth visiting where you'll find book of every genre with a decent infrastructure. This collosal library extends uptil 1 floor with a capacity of almost hundreds of students. Sport team is made for every kind of sport to represent college at various level of competition. I'll rate 5/5 for extra curricular activities and sports and library.

Alumni/Alumna

Great personalities has been a part of NM alumni who have reached various heights in varied aspects which is a motivation for a NMite. Also senior students guide juniors as a mentor here in every walks of life.

Admission

I secured 92% in Maharashtra State Board exams (SSC) in 2013. Post results I applied for the admissions through website hosted by State govt and I got placed in NM college in the 3rd round. Submission of documents as per requirement were done for the admission.

Faculty

4

The faculty of NM college is the best faculty you can wish for in your college life. Well polished professors who help you not only in relation to academics but will also guide you towards your career ahead. Well versed with the concepts, they embark rightful knowledge upon us.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It is one of the top educational institution in Nagpur with A NAAC Grade getting admission to the college is a dream for many the College have a good name. Faculty: I’m just writing about my course rest I don’t know much about there faculties and classes we don’t have any faculty except Accounts subject because of no faculty they never conducted any class for other subjects like economics, business management, business law, company law, etc. Student ratio: Students for the particular course are high but the class size is small it never matters just because they never conducted any classes. Qualification of teacher: They are not experienced they keep writing the same question again and again not going to clear your any doubt they don’t have much knowledge about. Term exams are conducted but no students agree to give any of the exams but who have given they don’t give any result of that it is conducted for formality.

The course has everything that a bachelor of commerce student needs. It is revised every year to meet the current industry requirements. After 12th I wanted to do b.com because that was where I thought my interests lies. The faculty student ratio would be 1:100. The faculties here are highly qualified and teaches their best. There was sememster pattern in college so we had exams every 6 months and with what and how easily our teachers taught us it was not that difficult to pass the exams.
