Remarks

Everyone love their college so I do. Yes, my college is one of the best college of Calcutta. Our college has a great infastructure and a good and hygienic cantinee and lots of area for parking. Our college has a cafeteria inside the premises and done a huge amount of plantation in whole area.

Course Curriculum Overview

I am now doing BTech in Civil Engineering. The course is good for civilization of India as per India is devoloping day by day and hope to be participating in this civilization one day. There is 4 internal xam's will happen in every semester and we have to submit 4 assignment for every subject. And after that the lab xams will start & after few days the semester xams too.

Placement Experience

The placement cell is working heart and soul for the students. There were good amount of students getting job by the placement last year. The renowned companies like TCS, CAPGEMINI, COGNIZANT, TVS MOTO CORP, LNT INFOTECH have come to our campus for placement. I don't have that knowledge that our college will provide internship or not.

College Events

Almost all types of events are held in our campus by different departments. Such as Teacher's Day, Engineer's Day, Many kind of seminar, cultural Annual Fest. Recently Ruskin Bond have came to our college for an seminar held by British Council. Apart from this our college celebrate Durga Puja in our college campus.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees structure is feasible for every kind of student. They provide Loan facilities to the student whom are not strong enough as per their economy. The entire fees is in under the Labour government to fund tuition for undergraduate and postgraduate certificate students at universities.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is lot of scholarship provided by our college and also by the govt. West Bengal Scholarships are meant for students who are domicile of the state at both school and college level. Run by the government of West Bengal and its subsidiary departments, the scholarships for West Bengal aim at supporting meritorious, deserving and underprivileged students of the state.

Campus Life

We held Annual sports event every year including indoor and outdoor games. They are quite good, infact I have perticipated in that last year and got the certificate and prize too. Everyone is selected by their skills.

Alumni/Alumna

Creating an engaged, supportive alumni network is crucial to an institution’s success. If communication stops once graduates leave an institution, their understanding of the university will become stale. Good alumni relationships bring many benefits to both the institution and the alumni.

Admission

I have appeared the JELET exam after completing my Diploma & after the councelling process I have got admission in this college. Then I went to the college for admission and the respective office staffs do the rest procedure.

Faculty

I am very lucky to have those faculties, they are very helpful and also very frank. I can discuss my problems which I have facing in the subjects to the respective teachers. They are also helping us by taking extra classes in the subject in which we are respectively weak.

Supportive Faculty - The professors are highly qualified, approachable and always willing to help students
Free wifi support - There are free wifi support for both student and faculty
Fee Structure - It is very affordable and low compared to other colleges in the region

Dislikes

Placement support is below average, and most studnets have to apply for off campus jobs independently, which is really pathetic in the era of ai where getting a job as a fresher is so difficult
There is no dedicated support or placment cell initiative to help studnets land meaningful summer internships or any kind of internships

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements starting from the 7th semester. For placement drives, we have to visit the main campus, Techno Main Salt Lake (TMSL). Since students from other Techno India campuses and branches also participate, the competition is extremely high. In the 2025–2026 academic year, fewer companies visited. Only two companies, Dronahost and WishCare, visited our specific campus directly. The remaining drives—mostly service-based companies like TCS and EY, along with a few startups—were conducted at the main campus. The remaining drives mostly service based companies like TCS, EY etc and quite a few startups has visited to main campus. The package they offered mostly in between 3.5lpa - 6 lpa. Furthermore the selection process of those startups is quite rigorous often consisting of upto 5 rounds of interview, two technical rounds with two technical interviews, and HR round My plans after getting the degree is either pursue an MBA or preparing for govt jobs

The everyday journey

Likes

I liked the campus . Their people and faculties are too great , they are also helpfull
The other thing i liked here is the play ground where students play with full of their energy and many game events are organised ocationally
The other thing i liked is the library where everyone use to study silently with poking others

Dislikes

Bad benches , like benches are too small to be fitted in our class I
In our department ac doesn’t work properly

Nothing specific just the campus attracted me Curriculum is preparing me for the real world approach and its doing good enough the academic pursuits is good Teachers should teach in a good way so that every student should understand Frequently the timing of exam is 3 hrs but sometimes it takes 1 hrs

Its our lovely college TIU

The faculty are well taught and the campus is very beautiful . The buildings are like newly bulid . and the campus is very clean.
In our branch the boys and girls ratio is almost 16:11.
The senior behave like a friend and they help us a lot and they also very supportive.

Dislikes

The college campus is too small compare to other colleges.
The college classes are not regularly held and the attendance system is not very good.
The classes are very boing and sometime it feels like aa school and the labs are not held timely.

Placement Experience:

our college average package is 600000 per Anum and highest package is 1800000 per Anum according to recent data. and 80% of student got placed . And wipro , windows, tcs , siemens , tata like companies come to our college for placement. Core students are also got placed but many of them goes for hihger studies.

My experience about techno

Likes

Ragging free campus. Strict action are taken against those who found guilty.
Classrooms are well equipped and are spacious.
There are many fun events that happen in the college

Dislikes

The campus area is too small. The library is not good
The societies are fully controlled by students so huge partiality goes on.
Some of the teachers are mean and are not good.

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd year onwards , students become eligible for internships and stepping in 4th yr , students get eligible for campus placement. Techno provides decent campus placements according to your marks. Good marks also with skills get you better salary. Minimum 7.5 cgpa is mandatory to have you sit for campus placements. The lowest package is 3.4 LPA and highest vary but students also get 14LPA easily. Wipro, tcs ,cap ,gemini, amazon , ibm etc.

The College Life in Burdwan

Likes

The campus is big and full of greenery with the vibrant feel of nature.
The students of the same batch are friendly and helpful.
The teacher's are friendly and helpful. They do provide helpful recommendations for the betterment of your future.

Dislikes

The seniors are overly harsh when it comes to 1st year.
The infrastructure could be worked on. The college lacks renovation.
The hostel does require everyday cleaning and renovation as well as the campus.

Placement Experience:

I don't know much about this but I guess from the sixth semester the students are eligible for campus placements. This year a student from AEIE got a package of 11.2 lacs per annum and the average is around 4 lacs per annum.

Experienced Faculty-students often appreciate a good blend of practical and theoretical knowledge.Faculty members in some department are often known for thier excelence knowledge and experience
Excelent Campus-techno india university has a large campus with excelent facilities such as libraries,labs,seminar halls etc. Some students finds this facilitries useful
Funs and Events-techno india university provides a vibrant campus life with events that span a wide range of interests

Dislikes

Time Management-the one thing that I disliked was their time management.They dont provide a proper shedule for exams,routines etc
Teaching Methods-some students feels that cirtain teaching methods(like a focus on lecture without without interactive learning or industry exposure) must be improved
Placement-techno india university does prepares thier students for placement they only give them the opportunity

Placement Experience:

Elegibility for placement-Generally students become elligible for campus placement in their 7th semester or 8th semester and there might be some prerequisties such as minimum CGPA must be 6-7 with no bachlogs Internship and pre-placement offers-many companies offer internships during the 6th semester or 7th semester and successful interns may receive pre-placement offers if their performance is good. Companies that visits campus: TCS Accenture Cognizent Infosys Wipro Capgemini Deloite Byjus Tech Mahindra Placement Percentage-On average 80%-90% of students may secure jobs through campus placements.However this numbers could vary across different departments and specialization Highest and average package-The highest salary offered at Techno India University was 24 LPA and the average salary was 4-5 LPA. Plans after getting the degree: My plans depends on placement.If I get a job of around 15 LPA then I will not do master degree and if I get job of around 4-5 LPA then I will do master for further great opportunities

The faculties are very good and very active. They are always ready to help
Campus is very beautiful and nice. Campus may be a little bit smaller but it is beautiful.
Environment is very good. And have a natural's beauty

Location is a thing which may difficult to find out.
Number of faculties are small quantity due to the college is newly established
Because of the college is new so therefore not huge like any NIT or IIT

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester students become eligible for campus placements. There many service based companies visited like TCS ,Cognizant, wipro, Infosys. Almost 60-70% student placed in on campus. Highest package offered by TCS 9-10lpa and Cognizant 6-7lpa wipro 6-7lpa infosys 10lpa etc. 60-70% student getting placement I will go for placement

Well I had a drop year and I got this college at first round of counselling so took admission here. Apart from this I had appeared for exams of other colleges as well like Manipal, VIT, SRM but didn't choose them as those are far from home and were much more expensive than my current college. I had also appeared for BITS but couldn't clear their cutoff. In my current college they take direct admission based on wbjee rank, from counselling as well as management quota. The most preferred exam is wbjee and the admission process is very easy and the people in the admission cell are really helpful. Fair college according to me

I had applied to TMSL , Heritage and NSEC. I got Cse in NSEC and TINT. I choose this college due to its location. Moreover this college is much better presently the nsec and tmsl because of many reasons. Mainly because of its latest naac accreditation with B++ grade. Techno international Newtown

I applied to a lot of colleges in India including BITS Pilani, symbiosis, ViT, KiT,and many other.. many colleges approved me as i cleared almost 90% of these college exams. But due to some family issues i couldn't leave Kolkata and had to choose this college as it is under makaut( Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad University) . It is a board. Techno international Newtown selects students based on WB jee or JEE marks. All India exams. The admission process is easy.. there are different cut off for different streams. Like Computer science engineering cut off is about 80.. like wise IT is 65, ECE 50 . And others below that. The admission has to be done in college itself. 3 campus are there.. techno international Newtown, techno university and techno Main Salt Lake. Techno university and techno Main are located in Salt Lake itself. The admission cut off is different for every college. The admission process is also different for each of them.
