Remarks

Just a single remark which is neither negative nor positive is the college timings. Which is higher than any schools and it ranges from morning 8:00 am to evening 5:00 containing 7 working hours and 2 hrs for snacks and lunch.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have opted for Information science and Engineering in BE, which is one of the best courses in BE. The exam structure is as follows. we had 2 internal exams, each of 50 Mark's and one external exam for 100 marks. Both internal and external exam are equal weighted for the final results.

Placement Experience

We were trained for nearly 6 months for the placement activities. Which helped us a lot at the time of placements and we had plenty of job opportunities waiting for us before our graduation. Our college gave us an opportunity to work us an intern in many industries and software companies and their stipend varies from 20k to 50k per month.

College Events

There were many events celebrated in the academic year. Each branch was celebrating their own branch fest in the name of BROWSE , IEMAGE, and many more. The complete college was celebrating the single and grand event (Summer fest) called HALCYON and ethnic fest called Spandana.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is feasible. It is neither expensive nor economic. It differs for different categories of people admitted through different modes of admission I.e., CET, COMED K and management quota.

Fees and Financial Aid

I don't know any type of scholarships offered. But they were helping us in applying for all the scholarships available and we are eligible to it. The scholarships provided from state of karnataka and many more were available to us.

Campus Life

We were having plenty of activities which were useful for both education and non education fields. They were giving us opportunities to participate in district level, state level and if selected in international level too. They were cheering up us I all these activities.

Alumni/Alumna

Yeah ofcourse they are very helpful and the alumni network helps us to get back to my college days and strengthen my bond towards my friends, faculty and college too. They help us in discussing and creating our future in the good way.

Admission

I have written the Common entrance test which was offered by Karnataka state examination authority in order to choose the better college for us based on my Mark's in CET. I failed to reach the target and got the admission to this college through management quota

Faculty

They are well educated and well trained. They are calm and not arrogant on students. Friendly natured teaching and non teaching faculties. They behave very obediently with all the students and they do not discriminate students in any circumstances.

My College Story

Placement Experience:

Students in my college have a very good amount of campus placements where students become eligible from the final year 7th semester however the placement cell starts training from the 1st year means 1st semester itself like training for aptitude test, coding and mock interviews. Top it companies like TCS infosys, wipro, Accenture, capgemini, cognizant, IBM, tech mahindra mind tree. The campus receives 300+ offers. The average package 8 - 10 LPA and highest package 54 LPA. Every year 90% students are placed. After my degree i am planning to higher studies in abroad.

My College Story

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is generally detailed and aligned with industry Expectations but there is still scope for modernisation in certain areas.Overall i would like to rate 8/10. The syllabus include both theoretical and multiple lab components which ensures hands on learning. The practical labs like programming work and project with learning help students understand how concepts are applied in real work places. A few theory heavy subjects feel outdated and no longer match the current industry demand this could be revised or replaced.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from the 6th semester, but the overall placement scenario in DSCE for CSE is below average. Not even 50% of students get placed in good companies. Most students end up getting offers from mass recruiters or in sales and non-tech roles. Only a small percentage of top performers get decent technical packages. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Accenture, Cognizant, and a few mid-tier companies visit the campus, but the number of high-package, core-tech roles is very limited. The average package is on the lower side compared to other top COMEDK colleges. Because of this, many students plan for higher studies, certification courses, or off-campus drives after completing the degree. The on-campus placement support definitely needs improvement, especially for technical roles.”

My Experience at College

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placement from the 7th semester. However the training and pre placement started for student from the first year itself like aptitude training coding resume workshops. The top companies like TCS Infosys Wipro Accenture Capgemini IBM tech Mahindra mind tree. The average is 8lpa. The highest 54 LPA. Overall 80% of students get placed in the final year. My plan after degree is to get a good job.

My Honest College Experience at CIT(Cambridge Institute of Technology)

Placement Experience:

The students who are studying in 7th semester ( final year) are eligible for campus placements but before that in 5th semester there is pre placement training like aptitude everything. Top companies visit for placement like TCS , infosys, wipro, accenture, capegemini, IBM, techmahindra, Mindtree. Average there are 150-250 offers. Average package is 7-8 lpa. The highest package is 54 lpa at botify company. 85 % of students get placed at cse branch and ai amd ml and civil 30 - 50% . Overall 80% students gets placed. My plan is join a top product based company liek google with a good life.

A complete discipline with education

Placement Experience:

The placement are good average packages 8 lakhs highest packages 35 lakhs and the companies include Google ,Microsoft ,service now companies and usually internships are provided as students become eligible for internship after 3rd year percentage of students getting placement 80% my plans still not yet decided

- Talking about me choosing this college over other colleges is because Siddaganga Institute of Technology comes in the top 10 colleges in the entire Karnataka and also has an NIRF ranking below 100. - I had applied various other colleges in Bangalore, but my ranking from KCET was 10,072 which was too high as per the cutoff put by those colleges so I couldn't get colleges in Bangalore and I landed in here. - I didn't get any rejections from other colleges as I had a good ranking in KCET exam along with an aggregate of 93.3% in my 12th. It was just the cutoff of the colleges that made me land in this college and I don't regret being here as I am happy that I am in one of the best colleges in Karnataka. - The admission procedure is simple. If you are coming through KCET or ComedK, then the seats will be alloted by the respective board and these students just come with the required or mentioned documents and just come and do admission in here. If the student is coming through Management seat then he has a different procedure. - There is no particular eligibilty criteria for admission in here, just one thing matter is the students rank which must be below the cutoff mentioned by the college. - The exam most preferred by the students is KCET, whose cutoff varies as per the branch they want admission for....Read More

I had got selected to this college based on my KCET EXAM rankings and i had given this college as my preority at 4th place and got it. i was so happy about getting this college and there was no other second thought and joined here.
