in conclusion, OPJGU is a great university to be a part of.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum followed by JSAA abides by the rules of COA, and is very interesting. It involves a lot of interaction and application of what one learns in the classes, which further helps in understanding and approaching certain study areaas in different ways.
Placement Experience
since it is only my first year, i'm unaware. as per my knowledge, the fifth year is meant for thesis work and internship.
College Events
JGU hosts cultural events such as Biswamil and sports events such as Magnus, for which JSAA does take active part in. JSAA also hax wokrshops and talks from people who are involved in the disciplines of anthropology, sociology, architecture, art, history and so on.
Fee Structure And Facilities
the fee is 4 lakh per annum, which excludes the hostel fee. the mess provides decent food but there is also a food court, which offers domino's, subway, punjab grill and many such options for eating. expenses in jindal, for me, haven't been heavy so far.
Fees and Financial Aid
i haavent opted for a scholarship, or an edcational loan of any sort yet. scholarships are available, though.
Campus Life
campus life is very lively. students from different courses often interact and enjoy. there's a lot of places for students to hangout at and have fun. clubs and societies in jindal are also very active and take in people, based on their talent and skill.
Hostel Facilities
the hostels are nice and neatly maintained. you have helpers at your disposal, for cleaning of the room. it is a cozy room. laundry services are also available for the students. there's also a common room, a study room and water dispensers, along with microwaves
Alumni/Alumna
the seniors are very sweet, hepful and nice to interact with. they help you, when you're in need of assistance.
Admission
The applications for admissions have already begun. One has to submit the application form, which is followed by an interview. Based on the NATA scores and the perfromance of the candidiate in the interview, a selection happens. The interviews are taken by the faculty members.
Faculty
the faculty is very helpful, kind and intellectual. They encourage healthy class interactions and often help us on our side projects, as well. Classes are always interesting and fun, since we get to learn things in new ways. they are also very supportive.
