The college have a great facility in all the areas. Its just that i mentioned that it should focus more on practical areas and also increase their participation in extra curricular activities. There should more foreign exchange programmes. The admin offic

Entrance Preview

I didn't take any entrance for getting into this college but after I got the admission i thought of appearing for CAT but eventually i didn't go for it as i had some other responsibilities as well and also this college has a brand name which gives an edge to your career.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course is not so apt according to me as i personally think that graduation programme should be more practical than theoretical.

Internships Opportunities

I did my internship in marketing in real estate company. It was basically an off campus recruitment. Letsintern, Jindal steels, Barclays and few more companies came for internships. There i learned about the working of the real estate industry. My stipend was 10000 per month which was quite exciting for me as it was my first experience of working in a company.

Placement Experience

4.5

SRCC is famous for its placements. Around 500-600 students got placed during the process. Companies like Deutsche Bank (14 lakhs), Barclays (7 Lakhs), Nomura(14Lakhs), AT keraney( 14 LAkhs), ICICI Bank (3-4 Lakhs), American Express(3.5Lakhs), Grant Thornton (for Articleship), Ernst & Young (2-3 lakhs), Deloitte (2-3 lakhs), PWC (2-3 lakhs), Uber (12-14 lakhs), Future First ( 9 lakhs),etc came for the placements. Average package was around 3.5 -5 lakhs.

College Events

3.5

Crossroads is the annual fest of the college organised by the Students Union every year either in last week of February or first week of march. It is considered to be the second largest college fest of India after IIT, Mumbai. It attracts a crowd of almost 15000. It's a four day fest where everyday different singers and bands are invited there are a lot of food stalls in the college and gaming activities which goes on in the college campus along with crossroads. Apart from the crossroads there are a lot of socities fest like Zephyr of English literary society, Zero Degree of Mathematics and computers society, artisia of fine arts society, etc. These fest of the societies attract a normal crowd of around 2000-3000. There are both registered socities and unregistered socities in the college and both of them oragnises their fest every year seperately.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The hostel facility is not very good but satisfactory. Its fees is around 45000 annually plus food and electricity which comes around 2000 per month. There are both twin sharing and three sharing rooms in the boys hostels. No air conditioning facility while you can get water coolers in the summer for which you have to pay 500 per person per month extra. Getting seats in hostel is much more difficult that getting into the college as its cut-off is much more than college's. The food quality is something for which i would give 5 out of 10 in case of few seats there a lot of PG's nearby you can get any type on PG i.e. expensive, normal, or poor quality the food quality will always be an issue besides you have a flat or you have a family.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are a lot of scholarships available for the students one is Mitsubishi trhat i remember as of now but apart from it there are many others as well which the college offers. Also the college offers fees concession for students from low income family. There is no loan facility available as far as i know but banks grant loans to different student based on their performance.

Campus Life

4.5

Well the campus life is very interesting as something keeps happening every other day. There will be some socities organising some evnty or there will be some quiz going on or any programme going on every other day. The ethnic fresher's and rain dance party is something which every freshers awaits. Talking about the gender ratio the proportion of girls is much more higher than that of boys i.e in class of 60 there will always be 40 girls. Also there are many people from south India who comes to college every year and also number of people from Delhi itself is more. There are not many workshops organised in the college every year but few socities organaises it anually.

Alumni/Alumna

The Alumni network is very strong as there is a very strong bonding between the students and their seniors. As i myself have attended two alumni's meet during my college and have met a lot of alumni personally and had a great talk about how i should further go in my career. Even on calling the alumni they are always ready to help. There are many groups of Alumni through which people connect to each other.

Faculty

4

The faculty are really good in the college but the way of teaching is not very good. Being the best college in its field it should be very creative in the teaching process. And also there is need of extra-curricular activities as most of the students don'

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculam is well-structured and covers all the core subject relevant to the field . It help in building strong theroritcial knowledge but lacks enough real-world case studies and industry exposure . Exam are conducted regularly and are of moderate difficulty . Adding more project-based or skill oriented components would make the course more practical and beneficial for placements or higher studies .

When students enter 3rd year of their college , they are eligible to sit for placements but should have minimum 8 CGPA .A lot of companiess visit campus , details of companies are on the website of college. The highest placement till now is 20 Lakhs per Annum and average goes around 6-7 Lakhs per Annum. A decent percentage of students get placed. Honestly most students here are pursuing professional courses so they don't sit for placements instead continue with their courses .
