Remarks

I have mixed reactions, some good most bitter. They can certainly perform better, provide us good facilities and college experience as we are experiencing now. Most of the times classes are off because of strikes. So we have to take extra classes.Mess food is another problem.College placements worried us most of the time. But who am I to induce Ur opinions, analyse yourself and decide.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

What possibly can I suggest my opinions on the curriculum which is ancient. For the past 50 years they taught us the same things our ancestors might have taught.Innthis tech savvy era, things changing and advancing on a whooping rate and what they taught us is shit. Now they expect us to compete internationally.

Placement Experience

2.5

Placement drives and job opportunities are in worse condition, nevertheless not to mention the slim chances of getting a good job in average colleges. At least arrange for our Internships let alone of being in one that give us stripend. We barely complete our 3 internship requisite just to sit in placements.

College Events

2.5

Events and talking about them every king of them starting by hackthon, cultural events,Sports events like inter-sem,inter Nit, Freshers, tech events like techvaganza and many others.Believe me that's the only time it felt liveliness in college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is very simple and similar to every Bit in this country. But rather than some other expensive uni's our college is affordable and if by any luck u can get below 1 lakh income certificate, consider your college fee is taken care of.

Fees and Financial Aid

Never got one so I would like to hold my silence on this one.In my view students having family income below 1 lakh do fill those scholarship forms and some got lucky too, they got schoolarships. As per the case of loan facility u have to take 20 round trips to accounts department to get your work done.

Campus Life

3

Speaking of extracurricular, there are several committees of singing, dancing, debate, sports etc.We have a common room for indoor sports and gym.Now labs in our college are desperately in need of maintanence, half of apparatus either not working or were so old that are not relevant any more. We have to do projects or labs in groups in which one working apparatus is alloted for 20 students.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

It's better to put it in this way that we don't just opt for hostel,it is mandatory for us to stay at hostel because of "kharab halat". As u take progressive steps in urban academic years in our college conditions of hostel changes from okay to bad to worse to slightly good.Yeah in the final year they finally give us a little space.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network and seniors are helpful in our college, but then again In Hogwarts help is given to those who speaks for it.You have to have some decent contacts with seniors and alumnis to get your work done.

Admission

As we all know how each and every engineering student land in IIT or NIT. We all burst our asses, locked ourselves in rooms with books and threw the key somewhere in a rathole. We cleared JEE and according to counselling we all got Suitable college.

Faculty

3.5

Hmm,on this I do like to mention that some times we are lucky we got really good teachers, but most of the time lecturer just wants us to mugged whatever is in the book and write it in the subsequent exams to get good grades. An advice, if you just want to pass time by writing exactly same things on board which I can Google in 5 minutes,You know where the door is.
