Remarks

Christ is really good when it comes to extra curriculars. They conduct various inter college fests and intra college fests which help in student development. Apart from that they have various sports events which help in overall development of a student. They have a annual sports event where students from all the three campuses participate in various sports events to win an overall trophy finally to the student who has won the maximum events.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The Course curriculum is very well detailed. I'm pursuing my BBA Finance and International Business degree and the university has almost covered all the topics coming under it. The course curriculum could be really beneficial in the future for the students. Also, the curriculum is drawn out accordingly as per the subject. The exam structure is as follows: divided into 4 CIA's. The CIA 1 and CIA 3 are where the students are tested upon assignments and various other modules. The CIA 2 and CIA 4 are mid semester and end semester exams respectively. The exams are for a total of 50 marks usually divided into 4 segements with Section A being for 10 marks, Section B for 15 marks, Section C for 10 marks and Section D for 15 marks. This could differ according to subjects.

Placement Experience

4

The placements and job opportunities are quite descent. There are a wide range of companies approaching the college for internship. The companies include the top 4 accounting firms and various other companies such as ICICI bank, Zomato, Swiggy, etc. The average package is around 4 lakhs for these companies. For placements there are numerous number of companies who approach the college since it is ranked number 1 all over the India. No, The college does not provide internship.

College Events

4.5

There are various events celebrated in the college from freshers party to convocation ceremony. At the starting of June, a freshers party is held for all the first year students to make them feel welcomed. Then there is ethnic day where all the students come in their respective ethnic wear and there are games conducted during that day. There is a Mercaton event where all the budding entrepreneurs can participate in the event. Students organise stalls in this particular event and the most profitable stall is awarded. Then there is colour week where a number of classes are given a particular colour during a particular day. All the students are required to follow that colour and are required to present in the auditorium in front of everyone. The presentation could be anything varilying from dance to any competition. Then there is a annual sports event where the students good in a particular sport are given a chance to participate and exhibit their talent. Apart from this there are various events and fests such as Querencia, Novice, Blossoms, etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure isn't feasible for a normal middle class student. The fee structure is quite high since it is a private institute. For a normal Bcom student, the fee is around 1 lakh and increases in subsequent years. For a BBA student, the fee is around 1.5 lakhs and increasing in subsequent years. The fee range is quite high in comparison to the other universities in India.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, the univeristy provides scholarship for the students who have maintained a minimum of 90% attendance over 3 semesters. This scholarship stand upto a maximum amout of Rs. 21000 approximately. There's also another scholarship where students are given a maximum scholarship of Rs. 3000 approximately if they have outstanding achievements in extra curricular activities.

Campus Life

5

Yes, Christ is excellent in terms of infrastructure. Infrastructure varies from labs to being well equipped with sports, extra curricular activities. They have 2 football grounds, nearly 8 basketball courts, numerous table tennis tables, badminton courts, volleyball, handball and hockey courts. Apart from sports events, they have chemistry, biology and computer labs.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Yes, I have opted for Hostel in Christ University during the first year. The hostel is restricted only for students of first year. However with special request of parents, students are allowed to stay in the hostel for the rest of their college years too. The hostel infrastructure is extremely amazing with all high end facilities. They have a triple sharing room. There are 10 common bathrooms in every floor with a total of 8 floors. They have a machine where you need to put your fingerprint, that machine records the attendance. Hostel attendance is taken twice a day, once in morning and once in evening failure of which would put a penalty of Rs. 100. The hostel is well maintained however the bathrooms are not hygienic due to them being common to all students.

Alumni/Alumna

No the senior students are not very helpful in comparison to other universities. I personally haven't found them to be helpful. Although you could approach them in case you need any help. Talking about the alumini network, there aren't any famous personalities graduating from Christ.

Admission

First I had to write an entrance exam of 2 hours which had questions on general aptitude. Few students were shortlisted based on the entrance exam who had to go through an interview process. The interview process involved questions on subject and it included a on spot discussion on a particular topic. The students who cleared this round had got admission

Faculty

4

The faculty of the college is very well experienced. Most of the faculty over there have completed their PHD and are professors. Moreover, they are very polite and helpful and one could approach them whenever they want to. The faculty are ready to solve the doubts of the students anytime and and any number of times.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Faculties have a good knowledge about subject and we can enjoy each and every classes here. They even trains us for cracking higher exams like IITs and that subject is very easy and helps us a lot. They helps us to prepare for interviews. But improvements in teaching methods must be there because most of the faculties here have ego issues so they won't allow students to sit at their comfortable zone.. Exams are easy not hard to pass very easy. And timings will be based on your semester on 1st and 3rd exams are at morning time at 2 and 4 at evening
